Socrates the doctor and mad footballing genius who could drink and smoke Keith Richards under the table? Would've thought he was quite unique.

Classic :smiley-laughing002: Only Brasilian football could produce someone that cool. I'm dying to know who reminds ILTC of him.

Aye I know who Socrates is. I was wondering who he was compared with, although am sure it was meant as a 'joke' ?

Think it was Rogic and a few others before, somebody pointed it out the other day. Thought it was you :56:

Think I can remember Denny Johnstone being a Zidane type as well :icon_mrgreen:

Calling everyone and their dug Socrates is almost as bad as suggesting Kris Commons has done more in Europe than Moravcik and Naka combined.

    Almost.

    Lubo against Juve.

    Naka v Man Utd

    That's plenty.

And yet you couldn't refute what I was saying :50:

Getting the * knickers on isn't the same as making a valid point.

I couldn't possibly refute that statement any more. Literally.

The fact you were boozing doesn't even legislate for its ridiculousness.

Except I'm still right, scored more goals than both put together, set up more than both put together, also scored a goal to get us into the last 16 like Naka did...

He's not anywhere near the player that eithere were but he has done more in Europe. That's factual.

It's a fact that he's set up more European goals, scored more and in a lot of different games. I'm being 100% serious about that.

Wonder how many points each have one us in group stages, with either setting up or scoring goals? He has had a real effect in Europe for us. He doesn't get anywhere near the credit he deserves.

We need ILTC to tell us how many goals and assists each of the three players have in Europe for Celtic.

He can compare them to Socrates if he wants but we need the facts.

You have said, twice now, that Kris Commons has done more for Celtic in Europe than Naka and Lubo combined.

We can make a poll if you want, or are you willing to concede you would be in the vast, vast minority that hold that opinion. It would be you, og1 and Dr Venglos.
