Let's not get into the realms of craziness. We did not miss Commons movement FFS.

His attacking threat, his creativity, his experience. All yes. His movement, no chance.

Missed him second half. I worry for us when we no longer have a player like him, especially in Europe.

That's because when he plays there, or in that part of the pitch, he scores 30 goals a season.
He's still our most dangerous player. When played in correct position. Why the * rogic starts ahead of him beats me.

  4. His movement is part of his creativity, he drags defenders about, moves central, wide, drops deep, makes himself available for a pass.

We stopped being able to play in the final 3rd, except when Tierney was trying to grab the game by the scruff of the neck, when Commons came off.

  5. Still not scored a goal that hasn't been scored or set up by Commons in The Europa this season btw.

  6. Cause hes been poor, he offered nothing for the midfield in the first half he was constantly standing around the edge of the box when we had the ball with Boyata at about the half way line, he should have been moving between their defence and midfield giving us options to pass to but he for some reason constantly just stood at the edge of the box.

  7. Of course we did . He makes diagonal runs across into the box all the time that allow Griffiths space to get his head on the ball , he times his movement to perfection . Happens all the time , start watching him .

  8. We didn't miss Commons at all

Did we miss him vs Inter last year? Our team is absolutely * at the minute but lets not pretend here that Commons is our William * Wallace.

    I often wondered that myself.

How many games this whole season, or even under Ronny, has commons played in the hole ?
Not enough anyway. If given a run. He would be banging them in, and assisting in far more than any other player.

  11. Just leave this here for you.

Just the guy that sets up and scores aw our goals in Europe. "Don't miss him" :56:

    Jesus.

I genuinely do feel for commons at times. No matter what he does, not good enough.

  15. You overrate him to *. He's awful more often than not.

  16. Right, point out what I said wrong there. Where are all these goals that he hasn't set up or scored came from in The Europa? I'm all ears.

  17. Done a good job of skulking responsibility on the Molde 1st goal. Instead of taking the runner, he made a half arsed run inside. Johansen got dragged out to the runner and it left a gap in the centre( after a * header), where Elyanoussi was standing in space with time to pick his spot. Never even had the presence of mind to fill in for his team-mate who was covering his mistake. Stood and ball watched.

Whether it's his position or not. He's part of the team and he should work for it. If it's good enough for the Molde forwards to work as part of a team, it's not beyond Kris Commons or any other player for that matter.

    Don't bother, mate.
Ive been banging away at this, forever. Got nowhere.

  19. Aye, let's not pretend that the person who has set up or scored every one of our Europa League goals was missed.

Also, a 3-3 draw with the worst Inter Milan team of all time probably isn't the best example of doing brilliantly without him.

  20. No he doesn't . Commentators salivate over him all the time aswell because he is a * class act and probably the most under-appreciated Celtic player in history . More so on this forum than in real life where i only hear good things said about him largely.

How the * can you say he's awful more often than not? He is more often tha not our most threatning player and drags us into games time after time . Has his off days but is largely a major contributor/catalyst to any good things we do .
