This is make or break time for the whole team not just Ronny, I think this could be our turning point in the season. Sometimes a team needs to fall to make them stronger.

Whether he was told to issue a statement or not is immaterial.

If he was as genuinely disillusioned with the Management as many in here and further afield have suggested then he doesn't have to put his name to anything.

He's a clever guy, he is well aware he let everyone down last night. The little bit about it being in public is the crucial part of that statement - shouting, bawling or throwing gloves at each other in the dressing room is fair enough. Doing it with the prying eyes of the media isn't on.

That's it done though, he's sorry, let's move on.

  7. Good *, I'm still happy we saw someone give a reaction.

    Public slate wiped clean..

The players must have serious doubts about Ronny too tho..

  10. Malmo should have been that fall. That's why I'm so disappointed with last night. We never should have seen a repeat performance of Malmo and we did last night. It's not acceptable.

  11. He did the done thing today. I don't buy it and that little apology won't let it go away..

    In my opinion..

Problem is, we keep having these falls and blips.

Inconsistency can't continue forever. Been a supporter of Deila as my name would suggest, however my head is beginning to rule over my heart. Need to start learning.

Oh aye fully agree mate things need to change, same I've always backed Ronny but now he needs to change this team round by January. We took a step forward last season and after last night taken a good few back. First thing is to give more youngsters a chance, we need pace badly as last night showed.

Our mentality is as if players are playing in fear of losing, that's never good should always be trumped by their will to win.

  15. Pace isn't the thing we need, it's fast decisive passing and he ability to get the ball behind a packed defence.

Pace doesn't come into it for me.

We were as slow as a week in jail down the right last night. That wasn't possible last night with the pitch unless we got lucky, we started so well and done that then dissapeared after conceding.

If we can't get past a packed defence and midfield then we need to use width with pace out wide, we had * all width except Izzy on the left who couldn't hit a coo's * with a banjo.

  17. I don't think that's to do with pace, it's with moving the ball quickly. They weren't very fast last night but they sliced us open quickly and decisively last night. It's not pace, it's guile.

Focusing on playing down the wings isn't what we should be doing, it should be cutting defences open. It's what that formation is best at, it's why Thomas Muller is the best player in the world for those positions in this formation. Movement, dragging players around, getting central from wide positions and slicing open defences.

It's a mix of both, we have players capable of doing that but have * all confidence or get dragged down with the team. In away games it's what we need, Molde showed exactly how we should be playing away in Europe.

We need players in the right position as well, Commons should never play on the wing we lose width of the team making it so much easier to defend against. If he plays should be in CAM, put Johansen on the right if he wants him to run about like a daft *.

We aren't Bayern and don't have the quality of players to play like that against a 10 man defence.
