Bitton was ponderous the first hour, last half hour he got a grip.

Armstrong was quite poor last night but of the 3 behind the striker Johansen was head and shoulders the worst of them and it was clear to see. Worst player on the pitch along with Brown and Izaguirre

The worst player on the park was Boyata in my opinion. I was actually surprised when I come on this morning that nobody had even commented on him.

The worth that suggests he is incapable of being subbed. We don't have a player in our squad incapable of being subbed. Commons thought otherwise last night, hence his reaction.

Directing it at a guy he clashes with in Collins also did him no favours.

Are you at the wind up or do you really believe what you've posted ? Commons (£300k) is our best technical player and the team should be built around him ..... he's not a winger and he's not a midfield enforcer .... last night he showed all the other players the way to play and the way Goal , Molde had a 40 year old playing for them for Ghod's sake ...... don't blame Commons for Deila's inept tactics .... Deila picked the wrong formation , the wrong Team and wrong Substitutions .... Not Commons.

True but our central defenders are so rank rotten it's expected of them now. I'm more annoyed with players who we should be able to depend on in games like these and the manager for choosing to persist with guys like Efe * Ambrose.

This point is rightly made after every bad result, it's almost as if these people are only happy when we lose, some posters even with fairly high amounts of posts only ever seem to revel in defeats.

Sadly these defeats certainly in Europe are becoming to familiar a thing and by the same token criticism is more than due but would also be nice if some were to also give praise where it's due, the fact they'd don't says much about them.

I * love Kris Commons. I just wish our whole squad showed the same passion as him.

Upon reflection, I still don't mind the outburst. I can see the argument about saving it for behind closed doors but I understand his frustrations and sometimes these things happen. I've done it myself at footie at half time sometimes, and that's so not me.

You know, it's funny. I remember being angry with Stokes not shaking Ronny's hand all that time ago when he came off, in Iceland was it? I had a rant about respect and behaviour etc. But last night I was straight away sticking up for Commons and giving it big licks :smiley-laughing002:

So did I ..... Commons was played out of position to accommodate Johansen who was pants ...... and even then he scored . If Commons was played in the hole instead of johansen we would have created more than we did last night.

Your posts last night were spot on, as is this one.

Commons had every right to feel aggreived at being subbed over - say....Johansen.

But, the way he acted was petulant and unwarranted. If he had a problem, he should have waited till he was in the dressing room, and then by all means let rip, but to do that in the manner he did showed a lack of respect for himself, the coaching staff and the club - had Griffiths acted the same way, people would be clambering over each other to call him out as a "ned" etc.

I would have been * off anaw if I were Commons - just scored a goal, and then a * * defensive lapse only seconds later cancelled out, aye.....I'd be raging too, then getting took off when the likes of Johansen is doing * zilch, but he will quite rightfully have to issue an apology.

Rogic as well. The disrespect of Commons by Deila is a disgrace.

Commons was our best player imo. His touches where good, his movement was pulling gaps for lustig to exploit just he never. His shots where looking dangerous and all from playing out of position for Johanson. Of course you'll be mad.

I can see where you two are coming from with this, stuff like that is usually best contained to the dressing room. Like I've said several times in this thread though, I think I felt we needed something like that. It was literally the only bit of passion all night, particularly only bit of passion on the bench.

It's the meekness of our team that's been getting to me, that wasn't meek from Commons last night, maybe in the wrong manner but I'm happy he done it. Something needs to budge and it's not Commons.

Commons no doubt should have kept his outburst for in the dressing room but do I think what he done was wrong? Absolutely not. Taking him off last night was a ridiculous decision. Johansen has stole a jersey all season both Commons and Rogic are currently better options than him but he gets picked because he's Deila's boy.

Like I say mate, I certainly do not disagree with showing passion - especially when that ENTIRE team showed no desire, no heart, no passion whatsoever - why didn't Commons show that type of aggression/passion on the park against his fellow team mates who were absolutely gutless? He had every right to be gutted/annoyed at coming off, but all he did was write the headlines for these poxy journos this morning "disarray in dressing room" type pish.

I don't think those Journos would entirely wrong, there's been a lot of rumours even since last year.

I know what you're saying and I thought Commons was trying to grab a hold of the game on the pitch, it's very difficult for his style of player to do so when he's supposed to be playing on the wing though. If the play was going through him in the middle he can, it's where he does all his damage.

As it is, Deila wants him playing as a peripheral figure for me. That's why he's playing where he is.

Commons showed that he cares. That performance was contemptible last night and the management are to blame.
