Players need to offer more on the pitch before they can react like that

Isn't ignoring the fact we've been KO'd 3 times from.the CL in little over a year a case for being irrational?

This has been blown out of proportion massively. It's not even a case of picking sides as if it's a playground scrap.

They will talk. Commons might pay a pocket money fine just to send a message. He will play again, score again and they will get on with it. Arguments and bust ups happen.

Imagine you went into your work and went off on your manager? Kind of puts it into perspective.

Last night a lot of things went wrong. wr looked naive and weak. I can honestly say I don't think one player played well so in those circumstances yeah can't expect to get something against a decent, well organised (although pretty average) team. I personally don't think commons should have been subbed, however that kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable and embarrassing. End of the day, he is an employee and showing that kind of petulance in public is stupid and has become the focal point. By all means be frustrated, I wouldn't expect any player to be happy about being subbed, but that is not something I want to see from any celtic player. Our players would do well to remember they are representing the club and behaviour like that makes us look *

For people saying commons should have been took off, the guy is doing his best being played out of his positon, commons is a number 10 all day long, but the golden child had his home coming last night

I think his reaction stemmed from the fact that he was taken off, whilst Johansen was still on the park. For what it's worth, I wouldn't have taken him off, but he hadn't done much throughout the game himself either.

Guy is being played out of position to accomodate Stefan Johansen . Commons still showed his class last night with that goal - if it falls to any of our other attacking players in that position none of them would have produced that . He was the only one creating anything last night and our main hope of getting back into the game at 3-1 . To take him off is mind boggling and a serious red flag to me with regards to our management team . His reaction was OTT and he will get a fine but i hope there is no real fallout because this guy is comfortably our best attacking player .

Load of pish, he played in that position for 1 season in his career, people seem to forget he had that position nailed down at the start of last season but due to his * performances couldn't keep it.

He did score. He was the only one who was doing forward passes as well, I thought out of everyone he was our biggest threat and he has been in Europe all season. Which is evident by the fact he's either scored or set up every goal we've been involved in in the Europa this year.

It was daft from Deila. More than daft.

Spot on. Not one player in our entire team would have had the class to take it past the defence and put it in the top corner, not a single player.

2 seasons, where he scored 52 goals between those two seasons.

Also, he lost that place through injury last year, pre-injury he was playing well.

Agree, Commons should be the player in that role.

Actually of now, Commons and then Rogic. I'd even play Allan before Johansen.

That's why I said I wouldn't have taken him off. However, his performance wasn't good enough to merit him having that reaction in my opinion. The imposter that is Stefan Johansen was the one who should have been hooked. In fact, he shouldn't even be starting.

Personally, i think its refreshing to see a player react like that in the face of such mediocrity.
Im baffled at the decision to remove him. Given that finish, his goalscoring threat. Who else has the ability to step up?
A kick up the * across the board is needed.. We need players with passion, character and leadership. Johansen has offered nothing and frankly its been disgraceful thus far this season.

Commons is in the wrong, end of. Bar the goal he had done nothing the whole game and his passing was brutal. Him, Johanson and Brown wasted possession every time they got it.

His only complaint last night could have been that Johanson should have been getting subbed along side him, but thats not enough reason to throw a public strop.

Armstrong was far better than Commons and got subbed as well.
