Did you watch the game through a potato? He tracked back well and his speed of thought unlocked them a few times.

 

Cracking goal. Good performance too. Not a Champions League level player but doesn't look out of place in the Europa League. He'll be a key player for us if we are going to get out of this group.

 

Just always a threat striking a ball. Scored a peach, hit a swerver from distance and hit a right just over that on his left, flies in 9 time's outta 10..

Sometimes slows us down and defensively can be lacking, runs out of legs but is still an integral part of our side..

 

Was at the game and agree with the other comment,johansen wasn't in the game as he was too busy watching the left back get away from commons especially in the 2nd half

 

He could have had a second in the second half as well when he forced their keeper into making a good save. He is definitely our biggest threat in European games.

 

Kris Commons is our one bit of creative quality at this level. Proper quality, not just effort.

Quality from him again tonight. He's so dangerous when he plays, that can't be denied. Very unlucky not to have scored two or three tonight. That swerver was Naka-v-Rangers-esque.

 

I have doubted Commons in Europe before. I used to think he gave the ball away too much and was generally too slow for European games but I was wrong.

Away to Ajax and tonight he has been one of our best players. He can create something from nothing and can also score from nothing so he's a constant threat, and it doesn't matter what the level of football is you're playing at, you need someone like that in your team.

 

Agree totally. Always scored big goals for us. Going to be very hard to replace. Fantastic signing and a great ambassador for Celtic

 

Have always backed Commons,he is our most important player imo,Ronny should build the team around him,not just fit him in to his system,should be playing the number 10 role

Guess we'll never know for sure but I think it's quite likely.

Not sure if Commons could have made a difference in Malmo to be honest. All-round performance was horrendous.

I think our most creative player fully fit for 180 minutes might have made a difference though, mate.

 

I think he's very under rated,if England had a B team he'd be definitely in it,in short,a great player

 

They do have a B team, but he played for Scotland's national first team
