Any time we were dangerous he was going through the middle. By far our best attacking player for me.

Tried his * heart out defensively tonight as well.

I want to know why he doesn't play regularly. We are a better team with Kris in it.
    Starkly clear.

Superb tonight I thought. Normally I find him very frustrating in European games but his decision making was great tonight.

I thought he was more impressive closing down space and working hard than I did with anything he done in a forward sense. That says a lot.

He was excellent for the first goal, composed play that I've not seen in Europe for a while.

As discussed before Kris & Ronny are not best of friends. They are Professional though in their daily jobs. Puff showed tonight he has that bit of class

Quality as usual. How he is not in the team all the time I will never know.

So what's the 'behind the scenes' issue?

He is our only playmaker in the team, with a lethal shot, good passing and good awareness. He's not going to skin a player, but he will spot a defence-splitting pass, lay on goals, and score goals. Only a few seasons back he scored 32 goals in 48 appearances. He has 83 goals in 201 Celtic starts.

How can you leave a player with that record and influence bench warming. You have to fit your system AROUND players like this. It's the reason we've been so poor of late, for me. That, as well as Ronny refusing the change it when it has been broke for so long. He changed it tonight and we came away with a credible draw, and were it not for Mad Izzy, it could have been a win.

I hope Deila is over whatever the * it was, because Kris should be in the team (depending on the type of game tho, granted), more often than not.

I agree mate. I'm just saying that I thought his defensive work outshone his forward play tonight, which is testament to the man considering the impact he had up front.

Ronny is all about fitness, tactics, formations.with the players at his disposal that needs to go out the window,we should be building a team around Kris Commons imo

Needs to play on Sunday for us. We are a much better team with Commons in it. Plus he bangs them in domestically. It's a no brainer.

RD on @kcommons15 "He creates things. Kris is a very good footballer. Very unlucky this year. Out for six weeks with injured toe." (MH)

RD: "So he hasn't started so many games. We know he can create things & is very experienced and I wanted experienced players tonight." (MH)

Maybe the reason he hasn't played more is simply that he missed pre-season and hasn't been match fit?

I've been banned all week and haven't got involved in all the talk after the sheep game - and I'm not wanting to turn this into a Ronny bashing thread - but his overlooking of the likes of Commons and Stokes is costing him.

Players like that know how to win titles, GMS and Cifcti don't, Stokes and Commons do.

100% his pressing last season was only beaten by Johanson as well
