He's made the team sound like a bunch of buffoons with that comment.

    Exactly..

We should have gone there to defend our lead and hit on the counter..

There should have been no doubt in their minds.

Which is apt as they played like buffoons, again it appears Celtic fans struggle with a bit of honesty.

Commons is for me the one guy who can score a goal from nothing and change a game, just like against Shaktar Karagandy in similar circumstances to last night and should always be in the team, I wouldn't blame him if he went elsewhere, he deserves better from the manager and some of the fans.

He's a fat * that earns more in a week than some on here do in a year, behave.

He has been immense for us but he is not beyond criticism. He isn't Ronaldo and is clearly on the decline. He hasn't the legs for Europe - not for the past 2 years.

And if he doesn't manage to score a 40 yarder from one of his 10 attempts what does he provide in a European context for Celtic?

Not energetic enough, too slow and too ponderous.

Exactly, too slow, ponderous and not clever enough I'm afraid. He's overweight and unfit at the best of times, and he'll be 32 in a few days. Sick of the praise he gets sometimes, it seems he's exempt from criticism.

    Laughable.

You wouldn't blame him if he leaves because the manager criticised(rightly) him and his team-mates pish poor performances?

If his heed is that big that he can't accept when him and others around him played pish then I'll drive him wherever he wants to go.

Great guy and served us terrifically well but you can't help but get the feeling that him and Deila still don't see eye to eye.

Real words of wisdom there

    Who said anything about Ronaldo?

Try looking at the real causes and reasons we bombed out rather than jumping on bandwagons

The only thing I make you right on is the fact he or anyone for that matter is not immune from criticism, it's just I happen to think their are far more worthy targets over the 180 minutes than him.

If that was 100% effort from Commons, he might as well retire.

I haven't heard the interview and not aware he thinks others were not pish, if so then he clearly is deluded on that granted.

I think Ronny has a rigid view on the system we play and Commons to his mind probably doesn't fit into it hence possibly not seeing eye to eye again is probably right.

I'm not for Ronny going or * like that which some are spouting but the system I refer to has got is eliminated from the CL 3 times in 12 months by giants such as Maribor, Legia and Malmo, maybe just maybe that is more of an issue than one single player, I'm digressing but who isn't at the moment

Do you blame me when your souting about always having him in the team and not blaming him for having it in for Ronny?

Commons is * now, end of story. There's no bandwagons here - Commons played a fine role in the * of awfulness that was our performance last night.

He should wind his neck in.

Don't understand how our best player 2 season's ago and a key member of the team the previous 2 can't get in the team.
Probably just looking at this the wrong way but there seems to be quite a few players that ronny is failing to "get the best out of".
Still love the guy though (both of them).

You don't rate him? clearly not....that's your view and you are more than entitled to it, personally there are a few that played the whole 90 minutes that need a lot more scrutiny than Commons this morning but again that's just MY opinion.

In fairness you are forgetting he is just back from an injury and doesn't really look that fit at all. Perhaps the reason he isn't starting.

It's evident that he doesn't suit Deila's system, even if he did play more games as last season went on.

I like Commons but I have always found it hard to really take to him like many have. I find him an incredibly frustrating player to watch at times.

Interesting listening to Kris' comments. He came across well and made valid and pertinent points.
I look forward to seeing him start on Saturday. Hail Hail.

Commons is good for a goal and not much else. Last night he was void of ideas when he came

Thought he came across as a bit of a snobby git in the interview tbh. Strange caus I usually wouldn't have a bad word to say about him, always came across well.

Just sounded awfully contrived and almost bored . Probably just the game still being too fresh in my mind but you'd think the media training would encourage a bit of emotion after a horror show like that, knowing the fans are gonna be distraught etv

I find him frustrating a lot of the time as well. In fact, one of the main reasons I get annoyed with him was highlighted again the other night. He must have been the best part of 30-35 yards out, had options, and decided to shoot. Fair enough, you don't buy a ticket, you can't win the raffle, but I think his decision making of when to shoot and when to pass lets him down a lot. Not long at the back of it, he was on the edge of the box, tried to play in Ciftci if I remember correctly, and didn't put enough on the pass, when he might have been better having a go.
