Hate the whole 'we need to spend x amount on a striker' to replace Hooper. Bullshit.

There is no guarantee of success with transfers. Spending £5m on a player does not give him 5x the chance of succeeding here. We need to spend money on the right players, for the right price.

Will definitely be true. Commons speaks the truth after every game. The only one with the balls to do so cause Lennon certainly hasn't. Not * scared of his boss like Lennon.

Aye let's raid the bargain bucket looking for that 500k hidden gem and buy Mckay, he will bang them in CL football!! Instead of splashing out on a proven prolific goalscorer. I'm no scout but for 6-9 million I'm almost certain they're out there. You get what you pay for in football nowadays, unless you do find the hidden gems. But like Lennon says, that can be hard so we need to spend the extra money.

But like Commons said, the board are not prepared to do it. And there are plenty of our fans willing to be morons and buy get another season ticket for next year so why would they?

Commons knows the score, but then again, so do the rest of the players and the fans.

Well said that man. I don't agree we need to spend 6 to 10 million at all but it is glaringly obvious that we need a proven goalscorer. He's made remarks like this a few times and I don't see anything wrong with it at all. He is only saying what the majority of us are saying.

I said all summer we would struggle and that Pukki wasnt a goalscorer, and wasn't the player we needed. Nevertheless folk on here thought we bought well in the summer window and threw Pukki's goals to games ratio down my neck lol.

The fans will still pay for next years season ticket though. So who cares really? The league is already won, we don't need any better and European football is out of our depth anyway. Focusing on the Scottish Cup is where our excitement should be for the next half year.

Lawwell will panic if season ticket sales see a dramatic decrease next season. Sadly, that would probably be the only way to force him into action.

I honestly think Commons would make a better manager than Lennon. Everything he has ever said after a game has been spot on and exactly what we all are thinking, instead we have a manager like Lennon who makes up fairytales about the game unwilling to admit his own mistakes. Matthews played great apparently!

I like how Commons comes out and states the truth, it surely gets the message across to the board as it's one if the playing staff.

Commons is a great player and should have started last night. He won numerous free kicks, played a great ball to Samaras & had a good effort saved. He done more than any other player in the short space of time he was on the pitch. As for his domestic form, we'll just look at his goals & assists.

I'm confident Commons will still be here next year playing with us in the UCL.

    Trolling? What age are you?

Why not try and add something relevant to the discussion?

    I'm not offended at all!

Just find it immature the way people spout the word troll all over the forum if they see something they don't like with with nothing of value to say themselves.
