Scepovic gets into really good positions, I think he needs really good delivery to shine though

 

By the way, how * far up Eremenko's * were the commentators?

He's done * all for years and they act like he's the Finnish Messi.

 

Excellent first half hour and last 10 minutes were decent, other than that I dont think it's more like it atall.... think we were lucky that it was a poor side we were playing, because it went flat. We struggled to kill the game off, but we got our points and that's what's most important.

Bit more room for improvement in my opinion though.

Bitton was so poor, looked uninterested, and far too lightweight. Wasn't keen on Ronny's changes either. But maybe he was just wanting to give Fisher game time? If so then that's fair enough... Would have had Griffiths on before McGregor. And I agree with the Guidetti change. Thought Scep was non existent after the first 10 minutes, but he got his goal!...

On a brighter note young Liam henderson had a good game, he's quick, strong, clever and shows some desire!, great wee prospect, and hopefully now will see him a lot more often. Kris Commons was desperately unlucky tonight, and showed he should be one of the first names on the teamsheet, he was man of the match. Stefan Johansen also had a great game!, never hides and always wants on the ball!...And his energy is like none other. Ambrose other than a slip and letting the striker have a free header actually played decent. VVD leaves him too exposed and i dont like that.

Brown played well again, and is showing some great consistency! Which is great obviously.

Bitton is a big * alright! Still a player in there but should be dropped for Charlie or Henderson.

Our possession was good but i am still concerned about how open we are on the counter.

Although he offers a bit of everything i wouldn't want him in a restricted role..

Don't want to go ott like i.have with him before but he looks a future complete Celtic midfielder for years to come, excites me no end..

 

Im very pleased with that performance tonight. i wasnt sure about the team but every player did well, particularly henderson and johanson. nice to see izzy score and pleased scepovic bagged one also. scepovic had a good game i thought, linked up well.

as good as ive seen us play this season.

 

I would like him to see him being more aggressive in his passing too, passing at speed more probing in his general play.

Still young though.

 

But but but the Celtic support want him out at home games..

The only complaint from tonight would be that for probably the 5th time in the last 6 domestic games we created loads of chances yet only took a couple, really need to up our conversion rate.

 

Good shout about Henderson.

I think if he had more match fitness it would have Bitton for McGregor then moved Henderson back.

Hopefully see more of him in the near future, give him lots of time in the winter break.

He should defenitly feature more in the second half of the season.

I think he has everything in his locker to be a great box to box midfielder.

 

I'll be playing close attention to Bitton next game as it look like I saw a different game.

I'd need to see the replay but that ball that bounced up on the edge of their box favoured the centre half all day long. I'd like to see someone throw themself face first into the likes of VVD when he was charging out at the perfect ball bouncing up for him.

Bitton misjudged it bouncing up so high and turned slightly to protect himself as the CB charged out.

The term "shitebag" should be reserved solely for Kayal when he ducked from a hard shot and conceded a goal. I think it's overtly harsh on Bitton tbh. I though he moved the ball around really well.

He's quality, tall, strong, fast, energetic , skillful, fearless, an eye for a pass, an eye for goal, has dig and will improve massively..

True but we couldn't have come much closer to a 5-0.

The perfomance level dropped in the second half a little, but it was good management not to sub Scepovic as the goal will do him good and it seemed to mean a lot to,him which was pleasing.

 

Well done to the hoops tonight, retained possession well and had plenty shots on goal, nearly another bombscare by efe but, good he started scep instead of guidetti this time round and it was good for him to get on the scoresheet, glad commons got a start he was unlucky not to score tonight, well done to wee Henderson aswell
