Around about the same although joe ledley in midfield is a must he likes to do the tidy part of the game as well covering.. tracking back and going forward at times.. good player dont think we notice enough what he does

I would rest Broony in this one because he looked really tired last week. Ledley has played very much within himself so far and to me so far looks nothing like as good as say Barry Robson in terms of impact on the game. I like the combo of Hooper-Sammy-Maloney as I think they have a good understanding of each other. Murphy was Killen-like last week i.e. just OK. Stokes and Hooper can have a half each. I am playing Sammy because he did more as a sub last week that Stokes and Murphy did put together all game.

    Agreed 100%.

Thing is there is a lot of tinkering there, we really need to develop a settled 1st choice team.

I know new players need time to settle & we've had some injuries/international breaks, but Lenny needs to get himself organised on his BEST 1ST ELEVEN.

I think he's going to tinker a wee bit, in readiness for each opposition e.g. home/away - tough/easy games. But I'd like to see this team at Rugby Park, bit unfair on Murphy he had his hand in a lot of good moves against Hearts in only his 2nd start - this is Sammy's 3rd season (almost).

True but I think Murphy is like Killen. Killen IMO was actually a decent player at holding up and linking but you could never see him score many. Just didnt have the sharpness or instincts. Sammy also doesnt score much but I think people hugely undervalue him. He is a big, fast mobile guy who has a * of a lot of skill for a big guy and he has it in him to run defenses ragged. I dont think the likes of Murphy have it in them to ever have the kind of impact Sammy can have. He just doesnt have the ability. I think even in his poorer games Sammy puts in a mighty shift and the people who say he is lazy are frankly idiots who must be facing the wrong way at the games. The guy always busts a gut. IMO the only thing wrong with him is he needs to play more central (surely they can train this into him) and he needs to be cooler in front of goal. If he could add that to his game he would be a 6 or 7 million quid player.

Let's not get too excited about this game. We all know how difficult Killie have been in recent years, so for me it's just about getting the job done.

But don't get me wrong, I'm not being negative. I would love to see 0-4, however I'll be delighted with 3 points, with another clean sheet an additional bonus.

i have been really surprised by murphy, especially against hearts. I thought he was brill, but i dont see him as a goalscorer . . . so im falling towards toni stokes. Then i reckon hooper will play against ICT :) 2 - 0 to the hoops !

Whilst any win would be great, a clean sheet would be nice too - our defence is still questioned in the press, but it would be funny if we kept our good record up.

This would be my team aswell!

Loovens shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11 and I think Hooper is going to work hard upfront on his own whereas Stokes is a bit lazy. Got to give Paddy a game after his goal and Maloney could do with a rest!

looking at that bench tells me we now have strength in depth, something the Huns lack, a few injuries before Christmas and they are * IMO..
