Not Brown? They best player on the pitch. Or O'Connell, Janko and Lustig who all had good games? What about Toure when he came on? Or our two Scorers?

Is it too soon to say we might have the new Danny McGrain in our midst ?

No, it is not too soon.

It's * phenomenal. He is a player who puts ye in mind of players from a by-gone era when Celtic used to consistently produce youthful Scots lads who were strong, brave, unfazable and direct with the hearts of lions and balls like buffallos.

His mere presence in the Celtic strip as the nailed on left back in the team makes me weep tears of joy.

This is what this club is about, and young KT is Celtic-personified.

    Incedible!

See when he got that shot away in the 6 yard box? How * good was that? Superb tackle and sheer desire to get in there. Nothings a lost cause for him, the very rare time he makes a mistake he carries the responsibility and * well makes sure that he makes up for it.

He was dragging players over to the standing section at the end as well, going bonkers. Very, very early days but this kid could be a Maldini, Totti, De Rossi, Gerrard type player for us. The passion he exhibits is something else.

This lad is amazing. Amazing at defending and amazing and going forward. Hope he stays for years to come (inb4 Southampton make a bid for Bhoy Wonder).

Aye, and he got two assists that day to make amends.

Yes he did, however I'm just only mentioning the only big mistake he's made defensively that's cost us.

For that to be his only major error is fantastic.

My one and only gripe about Tierney's shot on target last night is that he tried to side-foot it and not put his laces through it.

Other than that? I honestly cannot speak any more highly of this young lad. Really can't.

Just me that thinks recentley he is being exposed much more than he used to at the back?

    No really.

He came into the side under Deila - we were always exposed at the back then.

At least now, under Rodgers, there appears to be more emphasis on shielding the defence by having only ONE full-back bombing forward at one time, ith the other tucking back. Plus, when we have been switching to 3 at the back, and with Brown playing a more deeper role, there's definitely a bit more solidity.

I know it's really early days, but young KT has already shown to be an exceptional player with a maturity beyond his years, there is a consistency in his performances that would suggest he's the real deal, no doubt he will continue to get even better, i'm sure Danny himself is impressed with young Kieran.

    Of course he will be.

Infact, I'm willing to bet aul' Danny has been working with Kieren, and the two probably have a good bond - they obviously have the whole diabetes/fullback similarities.

Not that one, the other one from an angle after he'd won the ball back, passed it on then ran back onto when whoever it was got tackled.

I do slightly, but we're just getting used to some new shapes. It'll come.... Plus we still haven't had a settled first pick defence..

If he sticks around for the next ten years or so, there's no reason why he couldn't go down as our best left back ever. The passion and desire he shows when he plays is what makes you a club legend. I hope that's what he wants too.

I reckon he's the best LB in Britain right now. This will probably be his last season with us if he continues this rate of improvement.
