I know, I canny believe how good he actually is. That tackle he done in the first half where the ball was skelped into the stand behind the goal about 40 yards away

Defends for fun, pace, energetic, crossing, long distance passing, bombing forward on the overlap or taking players on himself all superb.

Only thing more you could want from him is to chip in with 5/6 goals a season himself like Roberto Carlos :smiley-laughing002:

 

That is twice now that he has ploughed through the ball and sent it flying into the stand behind the goal from miles out. He done it in a game last season, might even have been the last game of the season, could be the first player to score a long distance slide tackle :smiley-laughing002:

 

People saying we will be lucky to hold onto him, I can't understand that.

This bhoy will want to be a legend here. He is different class.

 

Said it a week or so ago that I honestly can see him staying here for the majority of his career, at least.

He has his head screwed on and if Rodgers' time in charge is as successful as we all hope, why would Tierney want to leave?

 

He could stay for a testimonial and still only be late twenties.

The away goal was good but see when that wee * tried to Rainbow flick tierney and he just shrugged him off and the guy kidded on he was injured. Moment of the game.

 

For such a young lad he reads the game so well. What a player

Though he did really well especially since the Ghanaian boy he was up against had blistering pace.

 

Thought a few times he looked uncomfortable but overall a very solid display.

Great spirit in the lad, tbh I thought he got a rough time today, all the probs up his side, lustig side was fine.

 

His hardest game for us today. Hard, hard shift. Thought he done ok but he'll wake up tomorrow knowing he was in a game today.
