He was terrible..

Its a hard watch

 

What has changed so drastically? He was great for Arsenal last year when he played. It has to be a mentality thing.

 

He has no speed.. forward pass .. * all.. was stupid to bring him back and I said that at the time .

 

Looks like he’s carrying an injury, just play Saracchi who has looked great in every game attacking wise.

 

Could end up being the most overpaid player in our history if he's on what has been quoted.

 

It was very alarming how bad he was at being able to get back in the first half. He left Scales one on one with Congreve 4 or 5 times when we lost the ball high up and just couldn't get back.

It was even notable when he went to the back 3 and the amount of outball he was unable to get near when they tried playing Congreve in behind. He got skinned for two early crosses too.

I did think he did well in terms of getting a few decent cutbacks when he got in advanced areas but his inability to cover the yards in a position that requires it makes him a defensive liability.

Tierney was targeted today and it worked wonders for Dundee.

 

Since he came back

 

I dont think he have the legs to play LB now. I mean hes struggling at SPL level so dread to think how he would have fared had we actually been in the CL against some of the pacey and powerful runners you get there.

Left side of a back 3 is maybe wheres hes best suited now.

 

Noticed this in previous games too. It's like he can't sprint now.

 

He looks * cant run and looks out of it after 30 mins

 

He's a broken player unfortunately. A shadow of his former self. Not his fault obviously but we need a new LB. We won't get one of course but we do need one.

 

Maybe works better with Daizen covering for him, but that won't last long anyway.

 

30 mins??? I think 15 m8. Poor so poor he is

 

Said it in the match thread. Would look outta shape for a legends game. Should be 3rd choice at the club currently.

 

A gamble that’s sadly not paid off.

Thing is he's not tall enough or good enough in the air to displace Scales I don't think. Looks slower than Scales too on current viewing.

 

Was all for him coming back but he’s a shadow of the player I was expecting. Looks so hesitant, unfit, slow and I just don’t think he fits in whatever the * way we are trying to play. Really sad to see and hope he turns it round but that combative, aggressive, quick, direct player hasn’t shown up yet
