Looks a shadow of the player..

The balance in midfield and change if personnel all over the park isnt helping tho.

 

I didn't think he was that bad when he came on. Still think it'll take another couple of months playing regularly.

 

Played pretty well for Scotland when he came on. Seemed to enjoy playing higher up the pitch.

 

His cautionary attitude hasn’t looked instructed with us imo, it’s actually looked one of 3 things;

a lack of effort or willingness (rule that out)
A lack of ability and or fitness due to wear and tear.
A lack of clarity in the role or lack of suitability for the role.


I personally having watched closely the last few games, am very worried about how badly he moves now.

I like him as a centre half but would like to see him in a 4 and see how he gets on but he’s not helping anyone playing as a mix of CH, LB and DM. When he played for Arsenal last season at the back end of the run in he looked like the old KT, not sure what has happened.

 

Agree. Did this latterly for Arsenal too and had good stats on chances made.
Something he could do for us too, as part of a 3-5-2.

I really don't get the criticism on here.
I think Celtic have managed him brilliantly, building up his minutes to now 80 plus.

He's simply a different player now, fans need to get used to that.
His forward passing, chance creation and link up play is next level v what we have/had.
Chasing back from forward position, yes struggling there but most aspects his game are pretty good.
But when ball in front of him defensively he's fine.
Maybe drifts back into centre a bit too much?

Overall, I'm very happy with him.
Not bad for a free transfer.

 

He hasn't been great so far for us. I guess the expectations of fans were very high and he's came into a struggling side with fitness issues and hasn't really hit those heights expected.

The positives for me is that so far he's coming through games and he getting good minutes under his belt and hopefully in a few months time, both Tierney and the team will be a lot better. He needs to a lot of improvement but we also have to show patience with him too.

There's no doubt that presently Sarrachi gives us a lot more energy but you can to counter that with the fact he looks erratic at times in defence.

He's done as a LB, he shouldnt be starting there anymore.

I wouldnt mind seeing him play at CB but he can't start at LB anymore.

 

I think we've done this to him though. He looked unreal in preseason and we're slowly pulling him down levels. Had to bury that chance at one down.

 

Rodgers would make Roberto Carlos look like a * in fairness.

Once we get the manager to *, maybe we will see a better player. As much as I've said he looks like he is done.

 

He was awful today again. Saracchi gave away a penalty in the last game and still played far better than Tierney.

Saracchi should be starting.

 

He’s been a huge disappointment so far. For all the stick Taylor got, he was a far more impactful player domestically on current evidence.

And the funny thing is, if Taylor had extended his contract, Tierney may have been another LB signing who failed to take his place.

 

Get him away now

 

I think we are paying him a fortune and he is not worth it. I’d seriously be looking at terminating his contract, if there is no vast improvement by May.
