First game where I've noticed the lack of pace from him, thought the criticisms were a bit ott prior.

Sarrachi deserves to start based on his recent form.

Amazed if anyone hadn't noticed this prior to tonight tbh.

  4. By far not the biggest problem tonight

  5. Looks finished..

Saracchi is levels above him currently. Isn't even close..

Watching him back out of tackles is disgusting..

A shadow of the player we sold to Arsenal. Injuries have took their toll unfortunately.

ColinC1888 Oh thank God that I'm a Roman Catholic

Have to remind myself he's 28 btw. Should be entering his prime.

We probably owe it to him to have a year off going through proper recovery to see if we can rescue his career.

It's not going to work as is.

Was always going to take a while.

  9. Having to have a sub reserved for a defender every game is a * farce btw.

I know he needs to build fitness but he looks miles off it.

    Saracchi has bundles more energy

    Dunno about that.

His lack of energy and lethargy down that left side is a major issue.

Maybe not the single biggest issue but he isn't without fault at the moment. The fact we looked instantly more threatening when he was moved and Sarrachi went down there tells all.

I've not even really seen glimpses of promise tbh he's just looking miles off it

  16. Very worrying. James McCarthy signed when he was 30. Unfortunately when you’re done, you’re done.

  17. Shame but I’ve said it before, I never wanted to sign him because he is…..done. If he wasn’t done he’d still be in the EPL with some team. This adds to the absolute shambolic recruitment we have!!! It’s not his fault he’s done but it’s our fault we signed him!!

  18. I was so so hoping that this was mainly just a fitness issue. That he could build himself back up to be what he was before so long as he stayed injury free. Clearly that's not the case.

Looks weak as * and has lost a couple of yards of pace. Can't believe how slow he currently looks and I don't think that's something he's going to get back.

His big trait here the first time around was his ability to bomb beyond the fullback and get pinpoint crosses into the box. He was sensational at it and one of our biggest attacking threats under Rodgers and Lennon before he left for Arsenal. Barely see him do it anymore.

To be honest you'll do well to even notice he's on the pitch. Really concerned about this one because I can't see this getting any better. Continuously having to be subbed during games too at this stage isn't great.

  19. Feels like a luxury at the moment. Doesnt really do much, needs subbed almost every match, and given the team never starts firing until the hour mark he seems to come off just as the team starts moving up the gears.

In a list of problems to fix he isnt near the top but I feel like we are hoping now rather than expecting Tierney to come good

Wouldn't shock me if he eventually moves to CB, doesn't look like he has the legs for fullback anymore
