Thought he did fine but also looked like he's on the way out as a footballer. Can just see with his pace, I hope I'm wrong.

He's the least of my worries. I think we're managing him correctly, and hopefully we'll see the benefit of that soon.

Great going forward - created some fantastic openings.
    Defensively, work to do.

Agreed about how we are managing him back into regular first team football and thought he was good tonight.

Did fine, getting there. Hopefully gets a bit quicker as he progresses but still a quality player.

Joe Hart hit the nail on the head when he said he’s visibly displaying the mental scars of someone who’s missed massive chunks of games through injury.

That can be turned around though and the more games he plays and more times daft wingers fall on his legs and there’s no reaction the more he’ll feel comfortable he’s not going to break down multiple times a season.

Not really understanding those who are fretting when they see his name on the teamsheet.

I understand thinking Saracchi should be playing/starting the game or whatever but we all know what Tierney's capable of.

Thought he was class, he's a real Champions League player and it's a crying shame he's not in that competition this season because his talent deserves it, by far the best player at the club and more than deserves his £50K a week wages if true

It's in his head and he will come good. He is afraid to pull up the injury again.

    He was good yesterday

He needs this year to get his body ready. Then we will see the real tierney in the champions league next year. Not tierney lite. Hes quality and I dont get anyone who disagrees. Fact is they are wrong.

I thought he was solid last night. Hopefully more to come.
Although I’d be careful to manage his minutes and play Sarrachi at the weekend.

In fairness it does seem like so far we have been careful with his minutes and getting him eased back into being an every week starter. I do agree with you though we should give Sarrachi the nod to start at the weekend given how much Tierney played last night and last weekend.

Really? Just curious, what were you expecting?

He handled his winger well, defended well for the most part and got forward and played some brilliant crosses in. He should've had an assist for his cut-back to Nygren.

I think it's clear his fitness isn't fully there as a few times he was struggling to get back, particularly as the game went on.. but I thought he had a good game.
