Just looks like a matter of time before he breaks down I think.

Its maybe mental right now. His minds paralysing his body because he's finally home and is genuinly scared for an injury again.

Im going for that.nit was only 4 months ago he was coming on for arsenal and making a huge difference in the games.

It's absolutely mental, to a certain degree. His head must be all over the place now, playing with so much fear and uncertainty, not trusting his body. It's horrible but the truth is when you lose that trust of your body as a top athlete, you are kinda done.

Tactics killed him today IMO, Ralston did nothing offensively either on the other side.

Was worrying when that diddy just breezed by him but it was the only time really. That being said he didn’t play well and looks as though he’s playing in second gear for fear of breaking down injured again.

I think there’s definitely been an element with KT that he’s been petrified of picking up an injury during this run of early fixtures knowing that we haven’t had another left back on the books. It’s a farcical position to have been in tbh.

Really wish he’d give the Scotland games a miss though.

Yeah 100%. I feel for him because we’ve known about this situation from the day he signed the contract in January, yet decided to only bring in proper cover for him a couple of days before the window closed in the summer.

He should be nowhere near that squad as the last thing he needs is to play 180 minutes in a few days, which is highly likely to happen given how * the Scotland squad looks. I guess it’s his own personal decision to make though and he obviously feels up to it.

Felt like he started the day wanting a fight more than anything. Then when it came to the actual football he just looked miles off it.

    It's a bit of a worry.

He needs to retire from international football.

Something I’ve been thinking a lot start of season, knowing for a fact Tierney’s mentality and how he is makes it a non starter completely.

He’s getting some stick at the moment. I’m preparing for people watching him for Scotland and questioning why he looks the player he is there, and why we aren’t.

And everything is coming back to the same thing for me every reply about our players just now, and it’s the system Rodgers is desperately clinging to

You can just see it now, him getting injured on international duty.

Honestly really hoping him holding his ankle and being frustrated enough to punch the ground, playing with a wrapped up hand as well, is enough to rule him out as a precaution

Nobody that can only manage for 60mins should be getting selected for the national side.

Problem we have is we can’t overrule it, without the possibility of suspension for him if the SFA push the issue.

We can ask for a bit of come and go, but Tierney is too essential for Scotland to go along with it.

Tierney himself has a mindset that he’ll not rule himself out

I’m * hoping his wrapped up hand is enough to allow us to pull him out, as an injury. Scotland doctor would take a look then. And can’t rule on fitness just if it is genuine or not.
