I am worried about his performances, we need a full back that goes outside the winger and provides width. He doesn’t look capable of that.

That Gassama absolutely breezed by him.

But I’ve still seen enough to be confident he gets back to his best.

There’s a reason he’s here, don’t let anyone tell you he got offered EPL teams after being released by Arsenal, yes released not sold.
No harm to the guy be I think he is done.

    That's probably more plausible.

Worst I’ve seen him. Didn’t look able or willing to overlap and/or take a man on at all.

Future’s going to have to be at LCB, I think.

Alarm bells are ringing for me he looks totally unable to sprint that one on one with Gassama was embarrassing

He looks a bit skinny. Needs his maw to cook more to get those legs working.

Hard to blame Tierney for wanting to come back, but his performances so far are why we shouldn't have entertained it. Rodgers fingerprints all over this.

That's what worries/bothers me. He always looks like he's blowing out his * from early in second half which I don't get since he's had a full pre season etc like you said.

That the huns are targeting him is a real concern. Maybe should be him and Scales competing for LCB and get someone in January for LB, or keep Inamura.

I think his fitness could improve. Mind Hatate used to be out of puff before the second half? Rodgers managed to train that out of him. Mind you, might have something to do with the amount of walking we do under his tactics.

Tierney, bar that run against Gassama, wasn't bad today.

Let's be honest, if that were Ralston putting in the same performance we'd be saying that's why he can't be relied upon as second choice. Pretty alarming.

It's weird as he still looked fairly quick earlier on, thought he showed good pace against St Mirren and Aberdeen.

Looked really slow recently, and I dont think he's unfit either.

Would be giving him a full 2 weeks rest tbh, shouldn't be anywhere near that abomination of a pitch up at Killie.

    Brendan’s quotes on him today

still trying to manage his minutes

Just to ask you about Kieran Tierney as well, obviously had 70 minutes, and that's his ceiling at the moment. Do you expect that to change after the international break, or are there concerns about where he is at the moment (fitness)?

I think it has to. That's the reality of it, but we knew there was going to be a period of adaptation from the challenges that he's had over the last couple of years or so.

But yeah, there's no doubt I believe that will come. But in the meantime, he's there and he's working and playing and obviously because of the little bit of history of the injuries, then we're just making sure with him, and if he feels something then...

I'm pretty sure that will end over a period of time, where it just might be tiredness rather than thinking that you're maybe going to be reinjured. But yeah, it's something that we will do (up his minutes) over time.

He should... if at all ...come on last 20 minutes. There is no way he has the speed and agility. Ffs I can move faster.than him and I'm near 3 times his age. He should have been left to go to hibs or Partick because I wouldn't feel the fear with him playing against us. If he changed his mind he would end up with a calf injury
