Any time is a good time to sign KT, but apart from his obvious talent we desperately need a bit more grit and determination in the squad, we have too many nice players.

Or parachuting out of a helicopter landing in the middle of CP wearing a balaclava holding a Armalite

I adore he’s back, the level of player he is we would have no chance of getting if he wasn’t Tierney, even with his injury record.

My lack of faith in us managing his games is my biggest doubt though. He can’t, just absolutely can’t play Sunday, Wednesday, Saturday. To make this work we need to make sure of not trying to make him, hoping he won’t get a long term injury doing it. And I think by 4/5 weeks into the season, we will have done that, and he’ll be out for months.

 

Probably the best player for Scotland last night , although wasn’t exactly a high bar . Some nice passes.
