Pre-contract was done at the start of the month I believe. If we win on Wednesday night, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Tierney is in the building by next week.

I think Romano had come out rubbishing this or saying it is Celtic he will be signing for. I agree with others that I think we either have signed him on a pre contract already or it is final details.

I am not as convinced we have sorted him out coming this month. He has still been in Arsenal squads up to the weekend there and probably will be on Wednesday night.

It would be great to have him signed up and in the squad for Dundee on Saturday but I doubt it will happen.

I think he has made it perfectly clear to everyone he is coming back here. All in his hands be it now or Summer.

Until we have a pre contract announced, assume anything can happen.

Arsenal owe us nothing, they owe no club anything in being nice about pre contracts, but surely when less when it comes to the club they bought KT from coming in for a bosman signing.

So, til KT has signed that pre contract, assume anything can happen.

All it would take is a club to come in with £2m to buy him right now and pay off his wage for the last 5 months and Arsenal will be more than happy to entertain that offer.

As much as we all know KT is a massive Celtic fan and likely is all but set to come back, if another tempting offer comes on the table and we are pussying around, then don't assume the deals done guys.

KT has all the power here though, Arsenal haven't triggered the extra year.. so even if a club wants to take him in loan for the remainder of the season, he doesn't need to go.

Don't think I can ever remember a player signing a pre-contract and then moving to another club on loan..

More likely we're negotiating a wage % with Arsenal.. but it's nothing to Arsenal in the grand scheme of things.. can't imagine they'll try and make things difficult for KT..

 

Hes already turned down plenty offers like that. He's a certainty to come back.

 

Meaning more for the chance he moves perm somewhere else.

I highly doubt it and expect him here for start of next season, but just can't ever be overly confident til they are properly in the door.

Announce the pre contract and all is good.
Til then, anything can happen.

I really think he's wanted to come back to Glasgow since he left but.

 

I don't think he's missed Glasgow just don't think he likes London

 

We may be waiting to see what happens with CL progression.. knowing us..

If we fail to qualify, we'll likely announce the pre-contract and go with Valle and Taylor for the rest of the season..

Qualify and we'll sort the loan and announce the package..

He'll definitely be here though..
