Seen the Cucurella link as well and seems more likely and cheaper.

Would be very surprised if KT fee was anywhere near £60m as well given his injuries past few seasons.

Would love it to be true but Shirley no.

Kieran Tierney is expected to remain at Arsenal this coming season despite reports linking him to a staggering £50million move to Manchester City.

The Scotland international was recently claimed to be on City's radar as they step up their search for a new left-back. Oleks Zinchenko has been told he can leave the Etihad but Pep Guardiola wants another option in that position and it was reported that KT is seen as an ideal fit. Football Scotlandunderstands, however, that no offer has been forthcoming and the general feeling among the player's camp is that he will stick around at the Emirates into the new campaign.

Tierney, 25, spent a good chunk of last term on the injured list and that could potentially be one element of any possible deal to play a part in City's decision making

The full-back has nursed a shoulder issue as well as a longer-term knee injury before he had to undergo surgery which kept him out for a handful of games towards the end of last season.

He also was forced to pull out of Scotland's latest Nations League squad through injury.

It means Celtic will have to wait for any cash windfall that would come from a KT sale thanks to clauses in the deal taking him from Parkhead to the Gunners for £25million in 2019.

Not surprising, he would be far too expensive for how much you could rely on his body holding up.

He’ll be retired by 30 with the way things are going. Should make all the money he can get.

100%. Hes had terrible luck with injury’s and it’s held back his progression down there no doubts. He’s showed in spells how good he can be but once he got a bit of momentum another injury’s pops up. Had he been fit the last few years he would have moved on to a better team by now.

I see he was subbed off after 30 mins in a friendly today, not sure why but hopefully not another big set back for the boy.

Hope for his sake it's just to get minutes in him, know it's his first game back. Doesn't look like there were other subs at that time though.

    Seen that.

I read it was always the plan to take him off at that point though to ease him back into it.

Was seen warming down at HT apparently.

    Just easing back into it.

Sadly he is a dying breed of footballer.
Mind when he first joined he got told to calm it down in training coz he trained to hard and played too hard in practice games?

I remember hearing Barry Bannan say he almost put Barrie McKay in the Clyde at Scotland :56:

Heard the same about Ralston when he started training with the first team under Delia at 16. Supposedly stuck Griffith straight up in the air first session.

Basically full pelt into tackles regardless of who it was or what type of training they were doing at the time.

If it wasn't for injuries, you wouldn't doubt for a minute that Real Madrid or Man City were in for him. Mad that we've had two of the top rated players, in the world, in their position playing for us in him and VVD. Hopefully they find some kind of solution to stop him picking up injuries.
