Its cuckoo land stuff do think Tierney is good enough for a side like Real Madrid imo. He's a good player (sometimes great) but has a * load of limitations that Celtic fans ignore.

I've watched most of his games for Arsenal and he's not exactly been amazing. Had spells of great form and other spells of poor form. This season in particular he's been pretty average.
He a relative of yours or something? :giggle1:

The link isn't ridiculous in the slightest.

Only reason I doubt it'll happen is they have Ferland Mendy. I haven't watched much of them this season but I'm sure he's been fantastic for them.

Don't think it's cuckoo land at all but fair enough. Cuckoo land is saying that boli bolingoli is gonna go to real Madrid. This is a very realistic transfer rumour.

Tierney is playing for a big club in a better league than Real operate in, in a position which is notoriously hard to fill. Can you name many more LBs operating at a similar level who they could get? Currently?

I can't think of that many. If Andy Robertson can be Liverpools no1 left back, win the EPL and CL then it's hardly cuckoo to suggest Tierney could.play for Real.

I've watched a fair amount of him at Arsenal and by all accounts he's been good for them and one of their key players. Think most Arsenal fans would agree.

As much as I was gutted when he left and i said a few bad words in frustration, now I do hope he does get a move to one of the big three in Spain or even England! He's got talent but most of all his will to win is above all his best quality. Hope he gets the big move and comes back near the end of his career before he hangs the boots up.

24 is that perfect near peak age for the really big move…. Arsenal might be EPL but are just in a state of perpetual ‘nearly’…

… not an admirer of Real Madrid myself …. But you can’t argue … if KT really wants to do it all in football then you can’t do much better. Succeed there and you can succeed anywhere.. AND get to choose where you go after as well.

He’s been their best player at times to be honest. Their fans absolutely love him for the most part.

Honestly think he’d be a massive success at Madrid. He’s just such an unorthodox type of player, so hard to read and looks awkward at times, but, he’ll take his man on and beat them 8/10 times. His offensive games is just as good as it was at us, but against top quality opposition.

Injuries are his only setback but he just comes back just as good once he’s up to speed….. Imagine him in this team :54:

    Never a 50m player , nor is he a 1m player , nobody is.

    That's the times.

Hope he does get it tho as long as the money is reinvested

He’s definitely good enough for Real Madrid. I mean there’s only about 5 or 6 elite left backs in the world right now.

Just because he played for Celtic once doesn’t mean he isn’t good enough to play for one of the best teams in the world.

It’s either jealousy or an inferiority complex to suggest otherwise. Every elite player must start somewhere.

Some of the best players in the world in recent years, and indeed Real Madrid have come up the hard way.

Luka Modric started at Dinamo Zagreb and was loaned out twice before being considered good enough to play for them. Toni Kroos was loaned out from Bayern. Robert Lewandowski played for Znicz Pruskow and Lech Poznan. Edin Dzeko played for Zeljeznicar and Teplice. Andy Robertson played for Queens Park and Dundee Utd.

Of course Tierney is good enough to play for Real Madrid, and he’ll only get better if and when he does. Pure snobbery to think a wee guy from Scotland can’t make it there. He’s a top player and has every attribute you need at the highest level.

Anybody who doesn’t think Tierney is good enough to be at Real Madrid has an inferiority complex.

So basically Celtic will receive £150,000 for every £1m that KT is sold for above the £25mn Celtic sold him to Arsenal for.

He won their fans’ POTY last season, which is quite something when you consider it was a breakthrough year for Saka, and that Aubameyang was still flavour of the month and banging in the goals.

He’s been unfortunate with injuries, but otherwise he’s generally been a total standout on the left for Arsenal.

I just hope he moves for us to get the money, couldn't give a * for anything else.

Heard hes been getting some pelters because he likes a long ball in recent times and not as dynamic as he was before.

Seems funny hes linked aint such a name but tbh they arent as big as they used to be.

Think he'd be an excellent fit for Madrid. Considering the price some folk go for in the EPL 50m is every bit a possibility for Tierney.

    Lemme get this straight...

Some zoomer on here thinks KT isnt good enough for RM?

    Jonathan Woodgate anyone?

KT is a CL level LB with YEARS ahead of him, playing/ starring in a world reknown team, operating in a league more difficult that La Liga... At a club where the majority fans wanted him made captain last season. Granted he hasnt had a "great season", but no one at Arseholenel has.

    But aye.

    Not good enough.

    * away aff ffs.

That being said, I love KT... But if he goes down the ubiquitous spanish long hair Alice band route... Ill * disown him from our ranks.
