    I would agree but the better value our players are proving the more that we can charge.

    I agree that we'd need to be in the situation but unfortunately the rest of us can only dream of playing for Celtic, which makes it even harder to understand his decision.

    I think as long as the thread is here and there are people cheering him on there will always be the opposite. He was on the fast track to being a legend but now he's left and he's quite far from it.

    If players and managers from our league are able to consistently go to better leagues and perform well, it enables us to demand larger fees in the future as there is proof of our previous players being capable, and clubs wont see buying from us as a gamble. It no coincidence that after the success of van dijk we were able to get the fees we got for Dembele and Tierney. I'm not restricting this to England btw, I feel this way about all the bigger leagues but it's just more likely for a English team to throw about money.

    Interesting, like I said a while back, I think he's left because his injuries have * him, if he'd stayed for the 10 he'd have been ruined with all the challenges up here, I think he's known this so decided to go to make as much as he can before he's over

    Yeah he played well, but you can't help think he'd rather of been winning 2-0 for Celtic in front of a packed Parkhead than 4-0 in a half empty Emirates.

    He'll be one of their best bits of business in years.
