    I find it difficult to believe that KT really pushed for this move. Not saying he’s been dragged there kicking and screaming but not convinced by the clubs statement.
    Lawwell has been salivating over a big fee since Arsenal showed an interest.

    I called it back at the end of last season- when he goes, the board were ALWAYS going to try and villainise him.

    "He wasn't fussed either way, but are we * turning down £25million!" wouldn't pull the wool over quite as many people's eyes. Making it seem like he "forced" the move keeps more fans onside.

    Yep, not saying he pushed or spat the dummy but the statement mentions twice that he was the one wanting to move, fits our boards agenda, "we tried but couldnt get it done", "we never wanted to sell but the player wanted to go"

    And if you as a player REALLY didnt want to leave and it was the usual PLC forcing players oot etc. All it takes is one tweet "Didnt want to leave...." and yer staying, fans wouldn't have it. He's wanted away surely

    I think there’s no doubt he wanted the move in all honesty. That doesn’t mean he pushed for it as such, but no doubt in my mind that when he heard Arsenal were interested, he wanted to talk.

    Get a grip. Its pish but that's football.
