I understand both those who wish Tierney all the best, and those who are ticked off. From what little information exists amongst false rumors, Tierney respected the club's decision, and never agitated for a move, unlike certain others. He has played through injury and fought hard on the field.

But at the same time, we need him in these 2 years. If he watched us last night, he would be worried about us, right? And all this talk about getting a big move before possible injuries stop him has a flipside: a not so friendly atmosphere he'd have to put up with if he has a serious injury at Arsenal. He's not a poor man, either. 20k weekly is massive amount of money, if one goes out in the real world, far away from football.

 

Feel like larsson just broke his leg again, only this time he wont be back in a season.

This. But also, some of the less glorious moments when we were defending desperately in final minutes of certain European games, and he was leading the line with fierce tackles and clearances.

 

Even though we lost, the way he marked Robben out the game at Celtic Park and was class all night..
