Kieran Tierney

Discussion in 'Celtic Chat' started by Mr. Slippyfist, Aug 1, 2015.

  1. KT: "I wont shirk any tackles on sunday. Ive been to these games as a supporter, I was there last year and I know exactly what it means to those supporters."

  2. Kid is gonna be alright at the weekend. Though both him and Roberts will be targeted by their more 'blue' nosed players. They would love to see KT sidelined and * his career early, and so would they love to see Roberts out of action for that game AND for next season if they can. Watch out for them tackles.

Glad to hear the kid is screwed on though and has the right attitude. Future legend and captain for him if he wants it bad enough.

  3. Can't see that happening, i don't know who is even in that mobs current squad but it's not exactly going to be guys like the bin man flying into tackles!

plus, do you not think Tierney's dad- a life long celtic fan, will be telling his son to go in knee height on the 'blue nosed' players, i most certainly would be :50::smiley-laughing002:

  4. You honestly talk so much *, he's been getting rave reviews all season from the media and will continue to do so so long as his performances deserve it.

  5. We'll see.

  6. I think he misjudged the spin on the ball to be honest. It was definitely a mistake, but it was his first one for us, and he more than made up for it.

  7. He's genuinely the least of my worries for Sunday

  8. I'm sticking him on for FGS on Sunday :icon_mrgreen:

  9. He certainly did, shows you the character of the young guy, the head could've went down, but instead he resumed his normal high standards and made a telling contribution to the game.

  10. Fancy him to score on Sunday for some odd reason :icon_mrgreen:

  11. An 18 year-old boy has consistently been our best performer in the biggest games. It's a huge credit to Tierney, but a pretty damning indictment of the rest of our squad.

  12. Didn't think he was very good, but boy shows more heart than majority of squad and more than that sham of a captain

  13. Done his bit once again . Love the wee *.

can't believe an 18 year old boy is our best and most consistent player. He'll get very far.

  14. Really impressed me today.

Honestly though, he'll be off to Southampton for £8 million-ish in no time if he gets any better. It's the way we are.

  15. An absolute * colossus once again.

Crunched into every tackle like it might be the last he ever gets.

Yet again showed up his more experienced, better paid peers.

  16. Future captain. Only 18, but he's cold as ice, he plays like he's 10 years older. His game in both directions is great, but he's slightly better defensively where with his tackles he cuts opponents to shreds.

  17. picked up today's man of the match award from the club website

  18. Yet again, outstanding.
