Don’t think we would have spent the money on Julien if KT was staying. That how PL works. Same with Eddy made it look like we were doing business by spending money we don’t usually but in reality it’s means we will be selling someone else for double or triple the price.

 

I think it’s entirely understandable that people are angry. In the cold light of day, it’s a perfectly understandable move from an ambitious and hugely talented young man, but right now? It’s raw as *.

I’m gutted in all honesty - and I’m someone who always expected it to happen. The reality of it actually happening is just a real kick in the nuts in all honesty. He was the future captain, potential legend, and one of the guys I would’ve loved to have seen be here to lift the 9 and 10.

I have to say that it stings a lot more than the Rodgers exit for me. Rodgers told us he was a fan, Tierney showed us he was a fan every time he pulled on the Hoops.....but he’s going all the same.

 

Feel kind of numb. Don’t hold it against him, just doesn’t seem real.

Some absolute idiots giving him abuse on here, you can never judge him unless you were in his shoes. 75k a week sets his family up for generations and that’s just his first contract, some fans need to live in the real world.

 

Sad to see KT go, hopefully earns his dosh and comes back for 16 in a row.

You don't know that he's been pushed out though. The club have accepted a fee that they feel is appropriate. The final decision lies with Tierney.

Him leaving isn't enough for me to dislike him, it's just disappointing that one of our own would leave with the 10 close. As I said, I wish him well.

Last year was criminal, this year we started well but have now just made a landfall of a fortune that should all be reinvested. Doubt 20% of it will be.

Unless we spend 25 on transfers this season, * should be hounded out. (25 all in, including what we have already spent and that's being favourable to this board).

I don't actually see a difference with Rodgers tbh, and don't know how any can say.

Both have went for money, let's not kid ourselves.

Im more annoyed at both tbh, but that's life.

Pretty funny to see some of the responses I got about his Megaphone pish, sometimes I thought whilst he was excellent for us, it did give him a pass on some pish performances. I personally thought it was all based on your performance on games.
