Never thought he just hoofed it, it was only down to two things.....long pass to someone or under threat and needed to clear the danger.
But some in the team are just hitting it in hope and ronny was meant to be building something better than that.

K.T. is one of the few who get pass marks this season, next season he will be even better.

p.s......few good games and the bullshit links to other clubs start, lad is going no where.

Liverpool can go and * themselves if that is true. It would be honestly depressing if we lost him after only a season.

I'll go on record and say there is zero chance of him leaving.

    At least anytime soon.

I tend to agree, but he is bound to be attracting serious attention. Imagine someone like Liverpool did come in and offered him something ridiculous like 60k a week at his age. Celtic fan or not that would probably be very tempting.

I do think the best thing for his career would be to stay here for another 3 or 4 seasons at the very least.

If they offered that to me I know I'd be gone in a flash. :smiley-laughing002:

However it won't happen for now I don't think. If he continues at this rate of progression and we keep him here till he is around 25 then we will have done well.

If a bid comes in for £10m he'll be off. Lawell will make sure of that.

If he goes to Liverpool, or any other club for that matter, it should be a minimum of £10m PLUS a minimum of 15% sell on clause.

He isn't worth 10 million so you can file that under bullshit as an attempt to unsettle an 18 year old. Strangely less than a fortnight before a Huns game.

In todays market he probably is. People put a premium on potential, mental but £10m is * all to teams down there.

Upon what basis is he worth 10 million quid at this point?

There may be silly money down South but the only historical evidence of Premiership clubs paying anything like that from the SPFL is for proven quality that's been in Europe. The last 18 year old with potential to go there was Danny Wilson, Liverpool paid 2 million rising to 5 which was also seen as excessive at the time.

10 million quid will never be '* all'. Remove the figure from the barmy World of football and that builds you Lennoxtown.

You do make good points especially the Prem waiting for some sort of Euro proof of ability. The money has got even dafter down there though. Perhaps they have watched him at the under international games. I don't think it would be completely unbelievable but I also believe it could quite easily be nonsense.

Danny Wilson was 6 years ago mate, the money down there has went even further up since then. If they believe he'll one day be worth more than £10m they'd spend it.

Similar to Patrick Roberts. He's not a £12m player at this moment in time, doesn't matter a * though.

He is not technically worth £10m just now due to the bias against our club and the country of which he plies his trade.

That being said though, on a neutral perspective - if Luke Shaw is worth £30m after one hit season, then Tierney is well worth upwards of £10m, imo.

He's not worth 10 million but I'd want an offer higher than that to let him go. Unless a silly offer like that comes in we have to keep hold of him.

Bournemouth paid £8 million for Tyrone Mings who was 22 years old at the time. Tierney would be worth the £10 million gamble for anybody down there.

He's probably worthy at least £6million the now, I couldn't imagine us selling him any cheaper than that is someone came in for him in the summer.

Luke Shaw - playing for Southampton at 16, playing regulary in the Premiership at 17 and capped for England at 18.

Patrick Roberts - I think we all seen at the weekend why City paid 12 million for him. He is a special, special, talent. Magath, who has managed allsorts of World class players, called him an extraordinary talent at 16 after 1 game at Fulham.

I'm not trying to talk him down, I'm as excited as anyone about Tierney but he isn't going to the Premiership for 10 million quid in the Summer. Not a chance. And the tabloid media know it as well. There will be undoubted interest but trying their absolute best to turn the young guys head is embarrassing and the timing of it is perfect. As it always is a fortnight before a Huns game, you could set your watch by the negative Celtic stories just now.
