all i can think of is a boardroom at the emirates full of arsenal lawers and accountants and we have lawell on his todd who had is head turned/ego stroked at one point by arsenal

just feels like were being led up a path to me and will end up taking an contract offer that is a mindfield with clauses and expectations, you know like they have went into super high negotiating deal making, i dont think we have the retained lawyer acconting staff do be able to compete at that level of fuckery

Arsenal are beginning to reconsider their transfer options after hitting a wall in their attempts to land Kieran Tierney.

Arsenal have made several bids for Celtic's £25m-rated captain Tierney, 22, who wants to move south, rejected.

The Gunners want to stagger payments whereas Celtic want more money guaranteed up front and less promised in future add-ons, with the ones suggested so far deemed unrealistic by the Scottish giants.

Arsenal are now weighing up whether they would be better served strengthening other departments of their squad than allocating more of their £45m budget to a new move for Tierney.

They already have Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac as left-back options and also need a centre-back, midfielder and winger.

St Etienne's William Saliba is due to have his medical on Tuesday ahead of a £27m switch but the 18 year-old defender will be loaned back to the French club for the season, leaving Arsenal still in the market for a senior centre-back who can come in straight away.

They are confident of tying up a loan deal for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos and remain interested in Wilfried Zaha despite his hefty price tag.

This was my main reason for doubting they were going to go all-out for Tierney. Extending Monreal's contract makes them look half-interested in Kieran, and he doesn't want that kind of move.

 

Kieran wasn’t going to leaving anyway.
