Have we spent the fee for Dembélé yet? Lennon's budget for this window should not be contingent on selling Ntcham. If and when we sell Ntcham, a percentage of that should surely be added on to his budget - likewise if Tierney leaves.

 

I meant seemingly fine prior to medical as both had been playing football without any apparent issues. I think coetzee had some form of avascular necrosis, but that's medical pedantry.
My broader point was that a scan of KT wouldn't necessarily show anything substantive. No disagreement that we're not doing due diligence, more disputing the black and white nature of these things.

 

Pish it will be five or ten million he gets I suspect look at the dembele money none of that was spent it all depends on champions league qualification as well if we sell ntcham for 14 and kt for 25 =39..... I suspect he will be given ten more to spend probably leaving about 20 million to sit in the bank with the other 40 million and if we get champions league you can add another 20 to that figure

If, and it’s a big if, this is true then £25M for a player who is injured for an unspecified period of time, who lost a big chunk of last season and wasn't anywhere near his best for the whole season is an offer that has to be considered and put to the player himself.

He gets no protection whatsoever in Scotland as every thug is given a free shot at him in every game he plays. This will play a part in any decision he makes. The money on offer as wages will be phenomenal too.

Let’s just wait and see. If he goes he goes with my best wishes for a young man who is working his way to the top. Getting assaulted in Scotland on a weekly basis and being over played is not the top.

That's a great point, he does get battered about silly here and the officials are loving it, he's so solid he doesn't flinch so no harm no foul.

We don't know if it's long term foul yet but mostly we don't really know if it's the tabloids, Arsenal being insincere sincere or who decides, is it KT or the board if £25m is offered? If he says I don't care about the wages I want to stay at Celtic can the board say we don't care about what you care about we want that money you cheeky wee * it's deal or no deal?
