    * Arsenal. Emery is a greasy *. Can’t see him staying but until it’s done, I’m keeping some blind hope.

We better sign him if KT goes. He already has my heart.

Not guaranteed he goes just yet. The alleged 25 mill valuation by the board hasn't been substantiated by any club sources. Even if the bid is accepted, there's still work to do for Arsenal in terms of agreeing a deal with Kieran, and with him passing his medical.

I don't know why but I can't help but feel he's not going to go I honestly think he'd knock them back for at least the next 2 years

    He'll be off.

Wish him the very best. We'd be stone mad to reject that offer considering his injury worries. We don't know if he will ever be back to his best or if his best is yet to come.

    Now let's start really investing.

Only being honest but it would be a bit of a Daniel Prodan if he signed for anyone, how could you feasibly pass him on a medical.

I don't see £25m, I see the £200k a week that goes with such a sum for a Scottish player, no doubt he's getting offered ridiculous wages cause they obviously see a world class player in the making.

On a positive note, it's good to see a team wanting to avoid having to pay Southampton £75m for our obvious quality by offering us a respectable amount.

Surely we said that after Moussa? Do we not say it after every UCL Group Stage? That's why I'm wondering why the board would accept £25m, do they know what top do with that amount of money in football? I love the fiscal policy but I am a bit concerned about the recruitment restrictions our wage barrier creates. I know it's a rock and a hard place but do we even need that kind of money when KT back from injury would be much more effective in our ambitions than too much money.

I know that this has been discussed here many times, but going for what sort of player Tierney is, how rare good LBs are, for how much worse players have been bought in England, 25 million for him is insulting, and not some sort of respectful deal the board managed to achieve. He would be leaving for a little more than Dembele (yes, sadly in those days 5 million is a little more), and he is a thousand times a more important player for us than Dembele. This would be the board * and downsizing the club again.
