Improving by the week going forward as well..

Absolutely nothing whatsoever wrong with his defending and tackling.Only time he get's beat at the back, is in the air..

 

I think Tierney is a potential Celtic Legend. If he stays here for 10 years he'll definitely be. His passion for the jersey is outstanding and it's almost a forgotten pride in the modern age. If the whole team played like that we'd do very well indeed.

He's nearly MOTM every game he plays and he's 18.

 

Aye that sounds right cause I've noticed at corners he seems to mark the near post for any short crosses coming in, he's cleared every one I think. He even made a diving header 1 foot from the ground, he's do anything to get rid of danger.

 

You'll notice he doesn't win many headers out on his side when he's targeted, but always goes up for the challenge ..

Puts everything on the line. That's what we love about him..

He's aggressive, but calm at the same time. I love his attitude, and it's always great to see a young Celtic fan coming through the academy and thriving off it. Nothing seems to faze him.

 

Not been able to see too many matches since he broke in the side, but luckily this match was on TV here. We've developed ourselves a pretty * good one now haven't we? He's a player that combines the best of the old school with new school. Loves a tackle, thrives in the physical side of the game, but still can attack and cross. I didn't notice a single weakness and he virtually shut down the left side. I've picked up that he's been impressive, but he looked like the single best player on the pitch today. Outstanding performance. I hope that his passion for Celtic is strong enough to pass up on some money, because within a year or two he'll be getting strong looks from down south.

I agree but I dont think we need to. He will learn this anyway with experience. He has the makings of a top full back, he really does.

 

He 's astoundingly good. I can not believe we have produced a player of this standard.

 

He's a tough cookie but in a refreshing way. No plastic hard-man nonsense, just tough, clean tackling.

This is the first time I've really started to get excited about the boy. He can really make a name for himself against the huns if he keeps Tavernier quiet as well. What an opportunity he has, and he's definitely got the quality and commitment to do just that.

 

Another strong and gutsy performance today, hand him a long term contract with a bumped up salary to keep him here and focused long term!

 

I think he's a massive plus just now, I hope he's committed to the
club , (which I honesty believe he is) & stays for a good few years.

I honestly see a future Celtic captain in him with his great attitude.
I'm hoping like * he doesn't get a bad injury any time soon.
