I think it’s good that the wiser, older heads think he’ll stay. Including me

I think he’ll be off. Not really

This will drag out. He's injured so won't be European cup tied so no pressure for bidders to raise bids.

    Think he's gone tbh

We should announce a new signing and then have him walking out the tunnel holding a ball shouting I'm here for ten in a row, at least!!

There is an urban legend in Brazil that Belleti was about to released by Barcelona when Ronaldinho stormed the president's room, saying that Belleti was his best pal and if he was out he would be too. After asking him why, Ronaldinho said Belleti makes an excellent barbecue and he couldn't live without it. Considering that both are from the south of Brazil, a region famous for being fond of steak, this theory makes sense. At least makes more sense than a player like Belleti being useful for Barcelona

Then the barbecue guy has to get in the pitch due to an injury at the Champions League final overtime and scores his only goal for Barcelona.

Said almost exactly this last week.

And the only thing that changes that is the Club either subtly or not so subtly edging him out the door.

To be fair that's a pretty weak looking bench.....you can see why they badly need to strengthen!!

If KT goes it will be his decision. If the clubs valuation is met, they will accept it. And the n it would be down to the player.

So how would you chalk up the McGeady transfer? McGeady’s decision or ultimately the Board forcing his hand?

The difference there was that we needed that cash and Lenny pretty much built his squad with that fee. This time we aren't reliant on the cash a fee for KT would bring. We haven't even spent the Dembele cash as of yet..

I can't see Lenny and Lawwell sitting KT down and saying its pivotal for the club we accept the fee. As that would be a lie.

I could see Lawwell doing it no bother at all.

And from his point of view I don’t think he’d actually think he was lying either.

Well KT would be stupid to believe it..

Just feel every * is gearing up to blame the board for this one. They will play a part but its KTs decision. 100%

The cash position of the Club makes next to no difference whatsoever to the Board when making a decision on a players value, unless we are on our *. Which we aren’t now or then.

If the Club accepts a fee, which will be a decision made without any input from KT or his Agents, it’s how KT perceives that which will determine whether he goes or not.

It’s not as cut and dry as, if he goes it’s because he wanted to.
