    They can make things uncomfortable, as long as it’s within the terms of their contract. No leeway at all, you can also just be a bit of a * (as he done to shift Kenny Miller out of the club).

    You’re thinking about the football side of things, which is Lenny’s remit, who won’t get him out training with reserves etc. but the CEO, who controls the structure, bonuses, pay rises etc etc. can make life uncomfortable for those under them.

    I don’t think he will btw, I’m just arguing against the point that those who are higher up the pecking order can’t make life uncomfortable for those further down.

    Of course they can, but it would make zero sense. Different if we had to punt him.

    If he leaves and provided we bring in another quality LB, it would be hard but we'd still be in a strong position.
