100% - McGeady wanted the same thing when he left and has wanted to come back for years in fairness but we’ve not been for it.

Be slightly different with KT, the relationship between player/fans/Celtic is as good as it can be.

All that being said I still can’t see him leaving, maybe denial but * it...

He might do but I'd say it's unlikely. People said similar about McGeady when he left and even though his value and standing in the game have dropped he still hasn't returned.

    He won’t get that here.

    Also Mulgrew took set pieces.

He isn’t going to stay at Celtic to up his average assists.

See Paul’s post above. Unless you have him on ignore? :nonono:

If you have, it’s a shame because you’re both a set of * but bring good insights thoughtful info & are active on here. :84:

Look, in a fairness, only the more self/Celtic-minded individuals, or those with a warped view of reality, will grudge KT his chance to move to a platform that allows him to play with the best, earn the top coin and get the full recognition he deserves. That's true of a lot of our players.
He doesn't owe us anything, he gave us everything he had, every chance he got. The standard of our league, and the falling standing of our club, are not his cross to bear; and people should stop hoisting this fake disloyalty bullshit at him.
If he goes, it will be a shame, but just like other disappointments of the past we'll pick ourselves up, re-strengthen the squad and carry on. After all, 25m for someone we completely developed ourselves may be lower than we want, but it's not exactly small change; to us at least. If he stays, brilliant. My only issue would be if we sell low, get next to nothing on the resale and don't reinvest at least the majority (60% min) of the fee.

Not guilty on having him on ignore but guilty on the charge of being a *.

Just my opinion but the way the EPL and Champions League are going we're going to fall even further down the rungs financially.

Stay to put in a good performance at the Nou Camp. Now stay to improve his assist record.

Aye that's fair. I am assuming it is only about the money when in fact there are other benefits like the more exciting league and the better quality.

David Ornstein (reporter that the arsenal fans all think knows what he's talking about) suggests that Napoli have moved ahead of arsenal in the race for KT

How about leave on a 4 year deal, bank us £30m, then come back on a free. He'd still only be 26. :)

Napoli would be a cracking move for him as well.

Potentially beside Koulibaly and behind Insigne.

Boys head must be mess just now.

Robertson averages 4.3 assists a game at Liverpool? Can't be right. Considering him and Trent Alexander had a bet going and were neck and neck for assists all year, that's saying there was 8+ assists a game...as in Liverpool scored 8+goals a game?

Nah dipshit, people saying he's finished his development in the league yet his delivery in the final third is obliviously lacking against bang average teams. Also so what if Mulgrew took set pieces? what's stopping Tierney? oh wait that's one of his weaknesses. Mad to say that his development has completely finished at this level.

18 assists in 78 games for Liverpool, it's usually in the champions league where his assists drop off

Mate, that's an assist every 4.3 games. Not 4.3 assists per game.

Which in comparison to Tierney assist every 4.59 games, is very comparable.

    Dipshit :giggle1:

At what point has is development “completely finished at this level”? When he starts taking free kicks and corners?

    Good lord.

His development isn’t finished but it doesn’t matter what league he’s in and it definitely isn’t about his assists. He’s good enough to be a top LB in the EPL and Serie A right now.

we need to take ownership of our own game top to bottom

we created the spfl why cant they be a little more ambitious and create their own scottish football channel

2 or 3 live games a week include our internationals into it

stop offloading it to big private tv companies

got to educate the scottish public however that subscribing to sky bt e.t.c for the epl is harming our game
