Only be a lie if he does leave, which he hasn't. Also the club could ask him to leave for financial stability of the club and he hesitantly agrees

The hidden assumption there is that if he leaves. It must be for the money. There are actually a number of reasons he might leave. He has a better chance of really developing into the best he can be in a better league, he will have a chance of challenging for European trophies and, yes, more money.

This is where people are missing the point. Every potential class player we have will probably leave, some before others, but most will see us as a stepping stone. KT being Celtic through and through makes it more difficult for most of our fans to understand, but its the reality of it. If he really wants to be the best in the world then its his decision on what he does.

I'm guessing Ajer will be next, then Karamoko, etc. Its * but its where we are at unfortunately.

Hope he stays for the 10 , wouldn't grudge him trying to better his career and IMO he would only go there for that , otherwise he would be happy to stay here for his entire career.

of course not, which is why i said in my opinion. But based on how the world works it would be a safe bet to assume so.

    Bit rude.

Am I the only one wondering why a guy with the username Ozymandias would like a post claiming that everyone would chase the money and fame?

Genuine question BTW. Understanding poems is not one of my strong point but the point of that one would seem to me at least to be about the futility of chasing fame and power and such.

If he doesn’t stay for 10 it doesn’t make him any less of a fan.

The world works the way it does not because everyone thinks that way, but rather because, in the absence of much more democratic institutions than we currently have, the important decisions are made by the rich and powerful, who overwhelmingly are exactly the kind of people that think the way you assume everyone does (how else does an individual or a family become powerful?).

I imagine he’s really struggling to make a decision if it’s all true.

    No, definitely not!

Yes, another greedy little * if he leaves for the money. , Listen, us irish spend alot of our hard earned money, time and emotions into our club along with you Scots and others from around the world. I want players who Celtic have nurtured to become a decent player(I wouldn't say great because he's nowhere near that yet!) To show some loyalty to us, the supporters. He should tell arsenal and the board to GTF that he's here for another 2 years. Go down in history with the likes of Tommy burns, Billy McNeil, Jinky Johnston instead of being tarred with the same brush as that * Charlie niclous and Kenny. Sickens me when I see him kissing the badge, jumping about with that microphone every chance he gets then * off to London for more money(thats if he does which is looking likely the longer it goes on ) . It wouldn't surprise me if that other * rodgers has been in his ear telling him to move. Tierney one man club my balls!!

In a nutshell “most” people will sway in the direction of a better financial situation, that’s just fact. “Most” people will make big decisions based on rationality rather than emotion, that’s just fact.

Don’t see why i seem to be taking heat on this :56:

On what? I’m taking the emotion out of it as im sure Tierney will be on what will certainly be the biggest decision he will ever make.

Jesus Christ some people are talking in here as if there has been a bid lodged, accepted and that Kieran is at The Emirate with Sky Sports News outside waiting on the scoop.

    * me he's in Lennoxtown recovering. Everyone needs to calm the * clean down. There are people talking hypothetically but there's a lot talking as if he is sitting in London.
