To be fair, it is a bit of a double standard to a certain degree.

The outcry over Rodgers was a bit over the top considering how good he was for us.

I hate to say it (and it wasn't true 10 years ago); but Spurs are bigger than us now. :54:

KT put off an operation for about 6 months because of how much of a * show our squad was last season all incase he ‘might’ have been available for a few games.

During that time Rodgers went behind the clubs back and left us without a coaching staff in maybe our biggest week of the season to join Leicester.

They aren’t comparable in the slightest and anyone saying it’s similar is a * *.

We have a greater chance to do that with Tierney, than without him. Even if the chance is small to begin with. I honestly would like the club to try and hold onto Tierney even by offering him mad wages- financial structure be damned. As it has been mentioned, his leadership qualities are something the club needs.

He's a hotter commodity than any player we've had post-Larsson, much more than Brown ever was tbh. More than even Van Dijk or Dembele. He's been on all the wonderkid lists for 4 years, long being tracked by all the top English sides, including City and United. It's different than Brown having an interest from Newcastle or a 2009 Harry Redknapp Spurs side.

I’d chop it up the same way as it’s been chopped up to conclude Man United and Liverpool are the top 2.

Domestic history, European history and fan base.

Think a big issue with most people on here was Rodgers could have stayed till the end of the season, and were giving no reason as to why he didnt.

If he's a real Tim. * have a word with yourself. If your telling me, your doubting weather or not KT is a Tim after watching him play these last three years, you need to get your head seen to. Tierney for such a young guy, has gave everything for celtic, look at the passion he has shown when going toward green brigade etc. Why should he not think of himself and his future? Going to a club down south Will enhance his game, he will become a better player for it, potentially even get another BIG move. If he leaves, good luck to him, if he stays then get the boy a pay rise. Not a Tim? * off

Don’t think anyone would argue domestically anyway how good Rodger s was for us but a guy saying hes in his dream job living the dream managing his boyhood club, saying no other job interested him convincing guys like mcgregor Forrest rogic and the like to sign 4 year deals saying it was in their best interest then basically jumping ship at the first epl that shows interest in him leaving us going for a treble treble at the most important of our season

Honestly don’t think fans were over the top guy was a total snake

I dont think even with him it is possible, was only really using it as a point to argue with. The chance isn't just small its minuscule.

We cant offer the wages and package a club like arsenal can even if we break our structure by even another 30k a week.

Rodgers gave everything to Celtic aswell, no doubting Tierney is a right Tim, off course he is, genuinely do think though he’s a great talent, stay for 10, after that he will just be turning 24, probably be an even better player and still has his whole career in front of him and if he wants to better himself at a bigger club, I honestly would be like good luck Kieran

Still would wish him all the best if he left now but would love to see him with megaphone at 10 in a row

I bet Arsenal spent about 80 million this window. Ridiculous.

He left the training camp in Austria and is in Lennoxtown. Could be simply finishing up rehabilitation. AFAIK, no bid from Arsenal was accepted- reports mentioned 2 rejected ones.

If you’ve used these metrics then you hold leagues over European cups.

So, are rangers bigger than Celtic?
