There's a * mentality problem in here. It's almost as if there are some defending the EPL position even though i'm not sure that's there intention. ''If'' there's a clause and ''if'' he wants to go then we've obviously got a problem and i think he'll be offksi on the cheap i'm guessing.

However, if there's not and we accept a * paltry 25, and that's what 25 is, then we (our board) are perpetuating the way these * look at us and it'll * continue forever and a day. We don't to need to sell him and have a chance to send a message to these *!!

Let's forget this he plays in a poor league pish. It's hard to argue with that but we've had a lot of high level games in the last few years and he's also an international. He's probably had a lot more high level games than most of these * that they're paying silly money for just because they play down there.


ps- ffs. i'd probably be happy with 30/35m now even though i was thinking an absolute min of 40. It * grinds you down. It really does.

This bollox hype about the EPL was enough to influence the decision. But I don’t see VVD actually performing any differently now to his performances in hoops, but apparently after a CL win he’s up in line for World player of the year???

If we sell for £25m we’re effectively saying that you can get out most talented player, with 4/5 years on his contract, who happens to be a died in the wool Celtic fan, who is widely recognised as one of the best in his position in the UK if not Europe, for £25m.

That infers that every other player is available for significantly less.

Celtic have reportedly knocked back a new bid from Arsenal that could have potentially reached £25million.

Football Scotland state the Premier League side lodged an offer of £17.5m – with £7.5m in extra payments.

These add-ons centred around the Champions League and Celtic were said to be unconvinced they would be met.

The Scottish champions instead want a flat fee of around £25m.

I honestly cant see him moving. We need another left back anyway with the amount of games, ffs we start in july and literally go to finals in all domestic competitions we need another left back.
