The thing that really gets to me the most is that no matter what price we get for him, you can be rest assured we won't be spending it. How much have we made from Dembele, Van Dijk sell on, Armstrong yet we spent the square foot of * all in comparison. We are about to go into our qualifying campaign with Johnny Hayes and Tony Ralston as our first choice full backs.

 

Either can I but it’s definitely what we should be doing. Don’t short sell us.

And if they don’t meet that? We get to keep him and you know KT won’t be unhappy with that. Win/win.

 

Supposed to be a 25m buyout clause... * knows if it's true. If it is, his agent will hold talks - that's his job.

He'll definitely get offered way better terms than we can offer, so to keep him we'll have to renegotiate his brand new contract AGAIN, just to keep him. If he moves we can't really blame him, he's getting crushed up here with 70 games a year and * all protection. Down there it'll be a much easier ride with hugely improved terms, and he'll not exactly leave us high and dry if for nothing we get 25m.

I'm just hoping that getting the 9 or 10 is worth more than cash for him...

 

Definitely we all just know that we're hampered by where we are. It's changed for the better but we're still being short changed big time on the wider scale..

If 19 is the legit second bid then we aren't too far off of 30 in my opinion which I think we should be aiming for. A loan on top of that as well and it isn't a bad deal..

Our recruitment has been a shambles for a long while. I would have no confidence in the club actually reinvesting the money for one and if they did I would have very little confidence in them getting the right quality in.

KT is still young. Another couple of seasons here at a minimum and then we could see what he thinks then.

The thought of Tierney and McGregor leaving in the same season would be a * disaster. No matter how good your recruitment is!

 

If its 19 they have offered again then I guess the rumors are true and they do only have 40 million to spend

As a London Irish bod, I get to read about a lot of transfers down here. Recently, the prices have gone nuts so £25m is way too cheap. £35m at least. No need to sell cheap.

 

If ALL the money was invested this window if he did go (25m) it would take the sting out of it.

The way this window is shaping up though we will have a bank balance bursting at the seams and a drastically weakened playing side.

 

Well , now youse know how I felt all those years ago when I awoke to the news .. King Kenny was leaving . Same scenario , he'd won everything with celtic , nothing else he could do here so best to move on . I got over it eventually …. last Wednesday I think .

If he goes he goes,ive not got a problem with him furthering his career,however if we get anything less that 25m and also for a MAJORITY of that to be spent on more players then fair enough.

Dont want him to to go,would be gutted,but if we * this up again with the cheap options coming in,im * done with this club UNTIL this board get removed completely.

If he played for another EPL team he be worth 35 odd million. Good young defenders especially British ones are rare and Arsenal know this, I hope Celtic tell them to * off.

 

Maybe they should offer izaguirre a contract then because they’re not getting KT at a cut price amount
