If Janko can come on to a game ( and i think he will ) , we could have this full back thing down for the next few seasons .

What a difference from the player who started against st johnstone at the end of last season.

Really hope his development continues at this accelerated rate.

Good to read, he's always been Celtic mad and he plays like he understands what the club means to a fan.

He was a ball boy the Barca game. Seems crazy he's still so young. Fully established first team full back at 18 is not bad going. He must have a wise head on him.

Xavier no one believes that post for a second :smiley-laughing002:

Excellent attitude, aggression, determination and composure today. Was the silver lining in a bleak first half.

Heard an older guy sitting behind me say he reminded him of a young Jackie Macnamara.

He'll definitely be in the squad, think these friendlies will be used for youngsters to stake their claim for the WC qualifiers.

I am so happy to see him do well. Hoping he keeps up the good work.

Imagine the money it costs to bring in a left back as consistent as the wee man.

Think Shinnie probably has a better chance than Tierney at the minute, because Scotland always seem to want their players to go through the age group regardless of how good they are.

Robertson and Shinnie is fine for now though I think. As long as Steven * Whittaker doesn't keep getting games at left-back.

He's superb. This is exactly the kind of player we want at Celtic. Cracking player, fantastic attitude.

That's the problem with Scotland, have to go through the age groups,* joke.Personally would like to see KT at lb with Robertson in front of him on the wing.

Robertson definitely ahead but would still be great experience to get him in the squad and train with them then hopefully get some game time.
I actually like Shinnie, would say he's more an attacking full back really good on the ball but Tierney much better defensively than him.

Haven't really seen much of Robertson at LM as I don't think he really plays there.

There's no doubt Robertson's best trait is his bombing runs down the left though, so it could be a shout. :50:

Bet * Hutton will get played at rb as well. Have some great youngsters coming through just need to get them in the squad ahead of Maloney and co.

I know, Hutton seems to have been Scotland's first pick at right back for about a hundred years. Time to give youth a chance, got nothing to lose.

Best Scottish right back for last 5 years has been Bardsley and he's hardly been given a chance. Personally would play Shinnie right back or the young boy Love that plays for Man United.
    Hutton is brutal to watch.

He's a wee terrier, hardly anything gets by him.

Could still work on his link up play but that will come from experience.

Definitely. Got to be a better option than that fud Hutton. Sick of the sight of him. Even when he was sat in the Aston Villa reserves not playing any football he was still getting a game for Scotland.
