Haha like all those other times we qualified for the CL and spent big.

In Rodgers first season after qualifying we spent £1mil on Gamboa.

In Rodgers second season, after qualifying we...got Roberts back on loan for a third season.

If we sell Tierney for £20mil AND qualify for the CL, we'll not spend.

 

It's actually surprising that we've managed to hold on to him as long as we have due to the quality he has. But no team has met the valuation yet, if he does go it should smash way past the Dembele transfer fee. Hope we're not pushing the lad out the door.

Think its a case of when rather than if he'll leave, would love him to stay for the 10 but if we get a sufficient bid we'll want to cash in and I think he'll be up for it he's won everything possible and it must be tiring getting run into the ground every season and being offered no protection from scottish referees.

 

Irreplaceable. We could spend the whole fee on a new LB and get a player who isn’t half as good.

* knows what's real and what isn't but if they are coming in with cheeky bids like that, we should be telling them to throw the likes of Reiss Nelson in to the deal. Don't give a * if he was in the Bundesliga last season..

 

I said on another thread that every player has a price and it has been proven all Celtic had to say was he is not for sale and the same about McGregor but.they stick a price out there when the likes of Leicester stick a far bigger price on Chilwell failure to reach C.L. group stages and the board sell an asset to cover some of the money they say they don't account for

The thing that's making me think he might want to go now is because of his injuries..

I thought before that he would never go this season as he wouldn't be going down in perfect condition and form. Now I'm thinking he may feel like if his hip goes again and he completely * his self......that he may do his self out of major money..

We missed the real KT majorly last year and left back has been a problem area for as long as I can remember by and large. Would be some loss..

 

What about Ajax losing players? Does that reflect on their manager?

Lenny is literally month's in after being given it on a temporary basis. Do you think it's a good look if KT, McGregor and a host of other's are either off or wanting off immediately?

There's been a lot of rumours about certain player's like McGregor. This would only fuel them if he was off at the first window..
