Least technically gifted :smiley-laughing002:? he's one of the only players who can put in a cross!

Do I think he is more promising than Matthews at the same age? Probably not but he is not far away. Do I think he will become a better player for us than Matthews at his best? I think he will and I think if things go our way he can become a top player.

Agree. He (like Henderson IMO) has the mental attributes that will take him far.

Can tell a massive difference between him and the likes of Forrest mentally (not a dig at Forrest who I've defended but it's clear as day why Tierney has a much better shot than most young players in this country of being a top player).

I agree like Henderson I have him down as a future captain but and there is always a but he is only 18 and it is too early to say if he will have the consistency needed in the long term (I think he will btw), he's already had a bad injury, in future he might enjoy the booze, and he could meet the wrong woman who could wreck his head. In terms of talent this boy has it the next step is for him to do things right off the pitch and grow up and so far the signs look good.

i admire his attitude but i believe he creates a problem within our team.

The other defensive players are clearly told to have tierneys back and cover him, which means they do not focus on their own position and leaves us frail.

A lot of attacking threat from the other teams often seems to come down his side and they get alot of joy out of it, even though he does a quality slide tackle now and then, he lets his man have so much free reign to cut in or put a cross in, the past few months it has been eye opening at how right wingers get down the flank with ease.

In my opinion, i prefer izzy, more reliable and much better going forward, link up play and not blindly hoofing it out when we need possession.

Deila makes a * of a lot of mistakes but fair play to him on Tierney. Hope Henderson and Nesbitt follow next season.

Celtic dont have the big bucks to spend and now we must look to the youth, we have some excellent young lads coming through. I'd love to see Hendo be given his chance very soon back at CP, we got scotty allan and KT too. these kids need to be played, we need to be looking at our homegrown players. all these lads are future scotland players.

KT and Andy Robertson at left back for scotland make me happy

No a chance, mate sorry. I'm referring to all of that.

Particularly that he's gifting wingers space and opportunity. That's just nonsense.

Thats alot of pish mate, sorry.

Only thing Izaguirre does better is bring the ball forward and link up. He cant defend to save hiself, hasnt been a reliable defender since his 1st season.

Excellent potential, I'd still like to see more of Izzy though, I think he's a long way from being finished at Celtic.

Then when Izzy has been playing for a month everyone will want Tierney back and so on and so forth.

Tierney has been a shining light for us this Season, he has taken to first team football like a fish to water and will continue to improve whilst he's playing. He's solid, he's energetic, he gets his head up when he's at the byline and his attitude is fantastic. Everything else he can work on but the basis he is starting from is superb.
