I get your point but I think you're being harsh. Would say the players around him aren't instilling him with much confidence atm, he'll improve. He can already put better crosses around the place than Izzy.

 

Not devoid of criticism..

But nothing gets passed him and was solid..wish all our defenders were the same.

 

He played well once again , very little gets past him and his tackling is superb .

 

As a left back, he does what a defender should do, tackles, blocks, intercepts, yep, distribution under pressure could be better, more sensible maybe.

Nothing but respect for this young man at the moment though

I don't think he got much help, but Hayes had him on toast, her certainly got past him.

Gives his all though, do agree about some of his use of the ball mind you, still think Izzy should maybe in too to give him a rest.

Terrific defender. Needs to add a bit of composure though. Definitely tries to lump it too often

 

attitude is spot on.

At time goes and win tackles that he should never win - no fear.

Some of the senior players should take note of his attitude

 

Can work on his attacking & passing side of things that's not a problem, but his defensive capabilities along with his pace are fantastic for someone that's 18. He's a natural defender and done well tonight considering he was getting little help from the wing.

 

Amazing defensively, def's needs to add composure to his game but I have absolutely no doubts that this will come.

 

well said . His defensive play as a full back is remarkably good .

 

Aw please * don't start getting on his back, his attitude has been showing the senior players up all season. He isn't the finished article, he's 18 and about 30 games deep into his career, he'll get better and better, he more than most deserves our support.
