I've said it before, nothing beats seeing an academy player and one of our own coming into the team and really looking the part.

I hope he keeps improving and is here for years to come.

He impresses me more every time I see him play. Crazy to think he's only 18.

The only good point at all today was him imo

I wonder if he'd be the same at another club. I see a Celtic fan on the pitch when he plays. We're the biggest club in the world to him.

An excellent defensive full back. Just needs a proper winger in front of him to push him to the next level and make him the complete full back.

That's a good point. A proper LW will make him look a lot better.

Can't fault the lad. He is outstanding. Let's keep in mind how much he puts into every second of the game and how good he has been when he inevitability has a bad run and not ruin the lad with negatively.

Can't fault him. Tries his hardest performance-wise and for the cause.

I actually feel sorry for the boy having to put up with Deila, he's on the way to possibly being our player of the year

He was okay, and I don't want to sound harsh, but his constant lumping the ball out for a throw or up the pitch is frustrating.

I was impressed by him tonight, happy for him to stay in the team.

But I do agree with this. "If in doubt put it out" isn't the worst thing if you're under intense pressure, but he does it far too often.

Doing a good job at the back but teams are exploiting his lack of height from free kicks as they did with Izzy. Can be a great Celtic player if given the support.

If his teammates defended with same effort we would be in a much better place, shame an 18yr old needs to lead the way..

Compare him to the totally inept Lustig...

need to stop constantly giving him praise because he is a kid and the ol' hurr one of our own durr.

too much possession lost by blindly lumping it out, furthermore his link-up play is abysmal.

i hate when a player like him gets wrapped up in cotton wool and devoid of criticism, he is as liable as the others for the bad performance.

100% agreed, but didn't think he was too bad tonight.
