    * travesty the way Teirneys excellent crosses into the box are being wasted by our attackers by not getting on the end of them, this was very evident against Rosenberg. Edouard needs to get himself into scoring positions more often and be on the end of the deliveries KT is putting in. At one point Teirney went past his man and whipped in a brilliant ball right on the 6 yard box, it was asking to be put in the net, you could see Teirney raise his hands as if to say "what the * more do you want", he was laying it on a plate for the likes of Edouard. I like Edouard and will hopefully show his class as the season progresses but if Griffiths had started that match we would have scored a lot more earlier than we did.

Sign a target man and watch KT notch an assist every week

The quicker Tierney is tried on the left hand side of midfield the better. It will take the defensive pressure right off him and make us more balanced.

I am usually against playing full backs on the wing just because they're decent going forward. Usually a large part of their game is running into the space in front of them to receive the ball but Tierney is more suited to receiving the ball to feet and standing up the full back. He is so quick from a standing start as well. He looks like a proper winger to me.

Love KT and no doubt he does a huge amount offensively for us, but does anyone else think some of defensive skills have gone a bit.. rubbish lately?

See him in a lot of games recently get megged, turned or let the attacker cut inside quite easily. For years he was solid as a rock and even now he’s ok but I’ve seen some complacency creep in. What he does have is great recovery pace and positioning but he used to be a better defender, for me.

Felt he looked tired and had not one of his best games tonight, but still well above average ,work rate is phenomenal.

Strangely I had suggested this before the semi in 2016. I thought Izzy left back with KT further ahead against tavernier to stop his supply.

He’s maybe been working on his attacking side too much but a lot of the time he has little help when defending and it’s usually when teams break on us so he’s had to sprint back into position then defend someone running at him. Not always easy.
