for someone so small he shows so much aggression in his tackles, and at the same time they are timed very well and fair, just a pity we will see pound signs on him, but im sure and hope he will be here for a while yet.

Great wee player in the making. If he keeps his head screwed on, he could be mainstay for years.

The Ajax right back Tete was excellent too, but when he went forward he got absolutely no joy from taking on Tierney.

He has shown nothing to suggest anything or the sort.

5 seasons standing out in CL then maybe...but a couple of games in the euro.....no.

He's already a better player than Mo Camara.

Aye, he looks like a wee skinny boy but in all his games so far he hasnt been outmuscled or bullied but has actually bullied opposition players, knocking them off the ball, outpacing them, shutting them down and tackling them as if its too easy for him.

    It's all about attitude.

He seems to have that edge about him

I was talking to Eoghan O'Connells brother one night here in Cork bout a year ago and he was telling me about how rated Tierney was at Celtic.
So I have not been surprised at how good he has been.

    Side note:
I also remember Colin Healy telling me when he was a Celtic player that Jamie Smith was gonna be the next big thing that he was going to be world class.
It was when Smith was bout 17

Smith was extremely highly rated and never properly made it, he was a decent wee player though.

We rated Simon Ferry and... my * can't remember his name, red head, think his first name was Charlie? * damnit.

I remember Paul Caddis holding his own against Ronaldinho. People were excited. Caddis ended up not being good enough.

Keeping the hype to a minimum with Kieran Tierney would probably be a good idea. It's still very early days for him.

I went widely overboard on Caddis in pre-season when he properly tore Man City a new one.

Caddis never though, Caddis done nothing really, he never even performed as well in any of his games as Tierney has in his worst performance so far.

    * talk about Caddis against Ronaldinho just cause he played. He done fuckall.

Tierney has been one of if not our best player in every game hes played.

Only game I recall from Caddis for some reason is a game away to Kilmarnock, he was more like Darnell Fisher done ok but never really had any good games where youd say he was our best player.

Caddis V Barcelona is spoken about like Kyle Hutton of the huns against Man Utd, for a good while every time you watched the huns they always mentioned "he performed well against Scholes when he played in the Champions League on his debut" when he never, he never got a sniff of the ball and done nothing, he was only on the pitch.

Sometimes I genuinely wonder if we watch different games.
