10 million is a joke figure.

He is pretty much a full international now after that display.

Huttons fee was largely based on his Scotland performances- where he was rampaging forward and skinning the fullbacks.

Tierney did like wise in his first time playing in that position, using his weaker foot.
KT can do what most modern fullbacks like tavernier cant and that is defend and attack.

Thats a very rare quality in a full back and must be a massive influence in any value placed on him.

we dont want to ever sell him but if push comes to shove and he/the club decide different then we should be expecting over £20 million and thats just on his current value- thatswould increase in relation to his development.

If he adds a few goals to his repetiore it wouldnt hurt either.

If Hutton was £9 million and he cant defend forshit and that was around a decade ago then where do you start. £20 mil maybe even a little low when you look across the border at the prices paid for average/reasonable players

I wanted to answer you again Immortan, my initial post was a bit abrupt.

For me, KT is already at an elite club. Better players than Kieran have spent the best parts of their career at Celtic and not all of them initially had the love for the club that KT already had.

Kieran has a chance to emulate all of them, he will be team captain in a couple of years I'm sure, once Broony winds down a bit. He will stay for the 10 and Captain us to the holy grail.

He could be a McStay for a new generation.

Personally, I think he will leave. But I think it'll be when he's 24/25.

I think he has that depth of love for the club.

I've been wrong before though, about Neil. I thought he would be here for the 10.

I've no qualms about doing the same with Kieran though.

If Broony doesn't captain us to it, I hope Kieran does

Obviously when you are younger some people dream about playing in the Premier League but I dreamt about playing for Celtic . It was always a Celtic strip I wore.

Says it all for me. He has everything he wants. Not everyone will understand that and that's fine, but I'm sure that as long as he wanted at Celtic he will be at Celtic.

I genuinely think we will have Broony as club Captain and Tierney as team Captain come the 10.

Broony will have stepped back into Brendan's backroom staff and will fill in where and when needed on the park, and Tierney will lead the troops on the field.

    That is my dream anyway.

It does, but if Celtic give him enough to live comfortably on, like what our Captain is getting just now, he will be more than happy to stay here. I genuinely get that vibe from him Prof.

Did you see him going mental in the Free Broomloan mate? This lad really * gets it. :50:

I would never question his love for Celtic, and what it means to him to wear the jersey, but a young player of his ability will always come to the attention of the big guns, who in turn will offer mind blowing money to lure him away.

I don't think he'll be away in the summer, but if he continues they way he's going, it will be nigh on impossible for us to keep him long term, he's such a fantastic young talent.

Everyone thought the same about Paul McStay from 89 onwards mucker.

You can't force players to leave.

Mate obviously I want him to stay. But the boys the real deal.

I don't think he'd leave for a club like Southampton, Spurs, Leipzig etc. But I genuinely believe he's got the potential to be the best fullback in the world if he went to one of the elite teams.

As much as he loves Celtic, if a Mourinho, Ancelotti or Zidane give him a call, he'd be a * idiot not to jump at it.

I think the clubs resolve will be tested and they will eventually succumb to an offer too tough to refuse.

He's got Celtic and Brendan right now.

What part of that do you not understand?
