He's becoming my favourite player. Always hard working and when he's knocked down he just gets up and on with it.

Aye, imagine Neymar's reaction to a Jim Goodwin old fashioned elbow?

    Defo.

It's amazing how consistently good he is for a player his age.

I can't wait to see him score one of his thundering strikers. Hopefully starting with Killie then Man City.

IF Kieran Tierney takes to the field for Celtic against Kilmarnock this Saturday he’ll be just one appearance shy of 50 for the Scottish champions. At the age of just 19 that’s impressive, particularly considering more of those appearances have come in Europe than against today’s league opponents.
However, try telling the full-back that becoming one of the youngest Celts since Paul McStay to reach 50 games for the club means he’s made it at the Scottish champions and he’ll bat away the suggestion quicker than he clears attacks from opponents down the left-hand side of the pitch.
Tierney refuses to believe he’s ‘made it’, despite having undeniably blossomed into an integral part of the Celtic squad over the last year, so much so that Brendan Rodgers’ first move as Hoops manager was to sign him up on an extended long-term deal.
And speaking to the official match programme for this Saturday’s game, the young Celt admits that it has been an incredible journey for him that he is eager to continue…

How does it feel to be approaching 50 first-team games for Celtic?

I knew I was quite close and obviously as a young boy if someone tells you you’re hitting nearly 50 games aged 19, you wouldn’t believe them. Even if you’re in the changing room with the first-team it’s something that’s so hard to do. It’s a great achievement and I’m proud of it.

What have been some of your highlights so far?
Your debut is the dream thing. That’s all you want. After my debut I thought, ‘I can die a happy man, I’ve come on for Celtic.’ A few other landmarks would be my first game at Celtic Park on Flag Day, then the European debut, that was another level as well. I’ve played for Celtic against Rangers and I’ve played Champions League, so all of them are steps up and they are something I’m very grateful for.

If things keep going the way they are, your 50th appearance will be in the Champions League game against Manchester City. Is that hard to believe for a 19-year-old?

It’s just another landmark. It’s a Champions League night at Celtic Park and it’d be my first one at home. It’s another level for me. My family and I still can’t believe it and I don’t know how long I’ll be able to say that for, but it’s still early doors as well. I still don’t feel like I’ve made it yet, I’ve still got a long way to go. Anything can happen in football and that has been shown over the last two weeks.

Fantastic achievement for the young kid. As per Crow's article, shows how level headed the chap is and down to earth.

Has a great career in front of him :50:

He'll be the captain of this club by the time he turns 21.

As soon as Brown retires/moves on, I can see KT getting the armband, best possible candidate.
