He's partly to blame for the goal, but apart from that, he played average.

Thought he did well when he came on, made some good passes which we had really lacked before he came on and we were able to hold the ball a bit better. Could've done better at the goal.

Having watched mcgeough several times that would be exactly what he would bring to the team, hes good when played out wide but imo better when played through the middle.

In a different thread a while back I said that Ki is our slowest central midfielder and quite a few disagreed with me saying he's got great pace. I think the game yesterday showed I was correct, ball is lost in the opposition half and Ki can't manage to chase down the Killie man on the ball and then he was again beaten for pace on the delivery into the box. If he is going to be played it must be in a 3 man central midfield or else his lack of pace and his unwillingness to track back will be exposed.

we were a better team after he came on but it wasnt enought to turn a * team performance into a win, and the defense was at fault for the goal after forrest lost the ball it should be noted and brown was jogging back, at least ki tried to get back but he has never been a defensive player

Why should it be Ki's fault for a bad back-pass?

That part wasn't his fault, he never tracked his runner though, which most definitely is his fault. Whether or not he enjoys the defensive side of things, it is his role as a midfielder to track back with his runner

He did track his runner, which is more than can be said for Wilson. If you watch the replay you'll see that Ki was inches from stopping the cross going in.

Clearly that wasn't good enough but I still find that people are finding the time to criticism Ki of all players after that game.

He was at fault for the goal. He's a very good footballer, that has added goals and creativity to our midfield. Yes, his free-kick's aren't what we all thought they were going to be - he's not Nakamura, he's Ki. He's the best passer of the ball in Scotland and he adds something to our squad, I'm glad we've got him and I firmly believe he'll become a cracking player.

How much do you think we'd get for him in the summer.

Probably one of the most valuable players on our team, which begs the question who knows the most about football, the experts on this thread who constantly run him down or the professional scouts and managers who value him so highly.

One of the most ridiculous threads I've seen in a long time, until Ki came on we were playing like a Mowbrey team, remember those days. If he had been on from the start we probably would have won, but the moment we lost the game was when Rogne was taken off, looking at his expression as he came off you could see he couldn't believe it, he knew Wilson was playing rubbish. Lennon seems to have a blind spot with centre backs.

what an embarrasing thread, always the same people criticising Ki, he played well yesterday, hes the best passer in our team without doubt, its not the first time this season where hes came off the bench and we immediately gain control of the midfield, Underrated!

Ki was a good ways from stopping the cross and it was his laziness/lack of pace which allowed the Killie man a free run into a good crossing position

i dont think you can blame one player for this performance!

for me it was the same as last week

team not in the correct frame of mind for this game, i.e. that attitude was not right!!!
